So I splurged and got myself a PS4 Pro and Red Dead Redemption 2, and it came yesterday. I really wish I could skip work the rest of the week.

That's a most gracious invitation. I'll have a hard time accepting on this trip, though. I have to watch with a colleague and then get the hell back to work. No rest for the wicked, even if the game is a brief reprieve.

I had forgotten that he had passed. I don't think I learned much but damn did I enjoy that class. I also skipped it to go to the presser announcing Fred as the new coach.

Back when Fred was a player Larry Curtis was the mayor of Ames. He cut the tip of his finger off in a snow blower incident. Needless to say when someone said the Mayor injured his hand it spread about like wildfire because everyone associated Fred with The Mayor. This was pre internet / social media and it still spread quickly. People were so relieved when they found out it was just Larry and not Fred.
