Just getting updated on you alls first world problems: parental units, in-laws, baby, and cat issues.

Got no parental units, in-laws, babies or cats so mostly have no ******* idea what you are all getting at.
I could remedy the lack of cats issue for you...

BC you going to WBB Fri?

No state football semis

Down 35-14, make a huge comeback to 35-28. 4 th and 1 on the 5 yard line with a couple minutes left. Qb sneak, get stuffed, oldest grabs him and shoves him to the side and pushes him to the first down. Qb then fumbles and they recover while qb is going to the ground. We were on a roll and probably score in a play or two and get the two point conversion. 3 yards from the state championship.

So can anyone give me an update on conditions in southern MN and northern and central Iowa? I can't leave until after 1:30 so I should have about an extra hour to still make the game tonight but I have no idea how bad the roads are. The Twin Cities are terrible but I don't know how bad they are south of here.

Any insight would be helpful since I need to decide if I risk buying a couple of tickets for the game before we leave.

A little late, coming back from Cedar Falls, it was windy but ok from hwy 18 south. Gets slick north of it.

@BCClone, you, or anyone you know want 2 tickets to tomorrows game?

We have season tickets and as cold as it will be, will probably have a spare ourselves. Thanks for the offer though. Sorry about the last minute stuff today, the IC was supposed to have everything handled today. We had both talked to him yesterday. I got the calls by Waverly and was missing the son's game for anything.

Its fine, not even your site is the potential issue site. Couldnt have picked a colder day to do it though?

Surprise. At MBB in my media capacity. Went looking for a certain member of RTT, who wasn't in her seat yet. *harumph*

Well Lew was there when I went by. Didn't see any tall gals with media credentials though. Glad you got to come to the good school for a change.

Tire fixed and ready to go back to Mn.

Ladies rolled in hoops I liked the pressure defense and actually running a play at the end of the qtr instead of stand dribble and chuck it or not get a shot off.

Was equally if not more so impressed with the men looked good even with out Wiggi. Maybe part of it is Mizzou not being good but us being down 4 people who we expect to contribute and winning by 20ish I'm more than happy.

On the Grandparent subject, some like to just show up for events and others like to be more actively involved. Take what you can get. That being said the more involved ones stay favorites alot longer. My nieces and nephews are getting pretty old now but sometimes call and just stop by to see my folks, pretty sure they don't go to far out of their way for some of the other ones.

Well safe travels to everyone this wkend.

Oh yeah get feeling better soon KC so you can enjoy that Hawaii trip.

Who do you most identify with? I'm 100% a Brian Johnson.

My 15yr old likes the movie (she was Bender for Halloween last year) and she is 100% a Brian Johnson. Whenever she is freaking out over schoolwork, I tell her it is okay if the lamp doesn’t work when you pull the trunk.

My first school was Brian for the most part (a class of 16 is hard to be only one individual), second school was closer to Andy. I would say that now I'm definitely Carl.

Wow, slept like 10-11 hours last night. Usually what happens when I finish the big rush. Probably also a emotion dump from oldest's last HS game and being so close. Was his first coach and watching film and discussing strategy and fundamentals was what we would do for most of the fall. What our "thing" as a father and son was. Realizing that part (which had covered 8 years) is now over.
