On NPR the other morning they had a story about a bacterial baptism for babies born via C-section. I won't go into detail but let's just say it is a way to expose the newborn to the bacteria of the birth canal that the baby didn't traverse.

I get the scientific reason but I think we'll go with our Dr's rec to just give him more skin to skin time to get exposed to the right bioflora. Cuddles sound preferable to me!!!!

Got it all about an hour and a half ago. Already done with the couch, coffee table, entertainment center and dresser. Still have to do the bed, but on my way back there now to get a little dining table and chairs.

Honestly, IKEA furniture is a piece of cake to put together. I really don’t understand at all where the myth that it’s difficult came from.

Honestly, IKEA furniture is a piece of cake to put together. I really don’t understand at all where the myth that it’s difficult came from.

Hhhhmmmm.........skin to skin time........wonder if that works with adults. Will see if the wife falls for it.
