The Big10 west west is ******* horrible. Basically as bad as the Big12 North most years.
I don't want to turn this into a cave discussion but what do you think of a non Jewish person living in Pittsburgh tagging themselves as safe on Facebook because of the shooting?
I've only had the safe thing pop up once during a minor typhoon while I was in Japan. I hit ignore and moved on though it does take up half the screen on the Facebook app.
I don't know. It just felt weird when this person tagged themselves as safe when they are a very outwardly Catholic person. Yea they live in Pittsburgh but it rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since there are dozens saying "glad you're safe" or something similar

Dallas this weekend. Atlanta for work this week. Then Pittsburgh for the next week. Then Seattle for the weekend with a couple friends. A few days inn Dallas. And then Maui for 12 days
Don't use FB I assume the safe thing popped because of the town? I'm guessing they used it because they could and really didn't think it through. More like "look a neat thing I've never used before". That shooting was a bad deal though, I guess there was a church down south somewhere that was locked and the dude went and shot up a grocery/convenience store instead. Well time to quit because no cavey RTT. though we all stay relatively civil in here among ourselves.
I started reading that thread backwards and it was all that crazy guy disliking everything and telling us we of all teams should be on his side.
First game I got to see this year, what a beautiful day. Sat 1st half in the upper deck then went on the hillside to see my sister. Afterwards caught the last few guys going into the tunnel. A bunch of kids were clambering to get a Montgomery glove. He threw it and this older/bigger kid basically ripped it out of the hands of a smaller kid who had grabbed it. For his 2nd glove David made sure he handed it directly to a young kid about 3yrs old.
Glad you got to go to the game. Neat of Montgomery to hand out gloves and make make sure it is safely delivered.
Lol some contractor ****** up the water line in my neighborhood and now there is no running water. No bars. No restaurants. My water will get shut off soon at my apartment.

Man, you are away from CF for 12 hours on a gameday and you miss a bunch. The football threads looked like they had some fun for awhile
Hadn't checked scores so this was my first notice that the Hawks lost. Was annoyed earlier that Badgers lost because they had the lead/tiebreaker on them in that for **** division. So, go Northwestern after today!

Based off of my very uneducated observation driving along highway 30 yesterday harvest should be winding down in a week or so. A lot of empty fields and a lot of farmers working hard.
Holy fog batman! From the Marshall County Sherriff's office until Nevada it was 0 visibility. Nearly hit one idiot that didn't turn his lights on and had a silver car. Although I had flight planned flying over just for the heck of it and the models did predict fog in those areas. I could have legally flown it as VFR on top as long as Ames had at least 1 mile visibility to land. That being said I probably would have delayed or cancelled the flight until I knew conditions were improving.

I wouldn’t think too much about it. Maybe they live around the area or visit around the area a lot. Or maybe it was their way of being proactive so people that don’t know the area keep bothering them about if they’re ok.
I actually like NW, so it’s easier for me to cheer for them to win the division vs Wisconsin.
