I'm also allowed to date 19 year olds I guess. But to be honest, since I graduated, I'm a 21+ guy so we can get into places and have an adult beverage.

KC,did the histoplasmosis make Lew run out of breath really easy? My dad has been having breathing issues but I don't know if he has ever been checked for that.

Not really. In fact, he didn't have symptoms at all. He has a chest x-ray every other year to monitor the blebs, and they saw something and sent him for a CT. The CT showed it was a "cavitary lesion" (basically a large empty balloon) in his lung. MRI, PET scan, biopsies, and blood tests and they finally diagnosed the histo (along with a kidney stone and a couple of other things). He had so many new docs poking at him that we had to start a notebook to keep track of who did what, and for what ailment!

@NWICY - Lew's lack of symptoms was probably due to the early stage of the infection. I remembered this thread about Thomas Pollard, who was diagnosed a couple of months after Lew, but whose infection had escalated past where Lew's was diagnosed.

So when I got offered this position out here, it was a new thing to them. The company as a whole over like 15 countries only has one other district manager because most franchise owners only own one or two locations, not dozens. So they were going to see how I did in the first 6 months in the remote Nova area to determine if they wanted to hire a district manager for the Richmond area, which is where their base is out of. They decided when I was about three weeks in to start looking for a Richmond DM (which I consider a compliment) and have had me sitting in on their DM interviews (which I also consider a compliment). I semi jokingly said to my boss today, because I was printing off my lease to sign and mail out, that this was their last chance to keep me in Richmond. She was like “really? You’d be willing to stay here?” And I was like, sure, I like it here. Plus the rent is way cheaper! And now suddenly she’s trying to figure out how to keep me in Richmond instead.

Is she single?

Hmm, I suppose it won't hurt to ask about it anyway.

taking little man to a Halloween party tomorrow night. I'll try not to pet the cats. Our costumes are probably dumb now because DH is dressing like Paul Ryan or something since he has a decent resemblance. I don't think baby has seen a cat yet. Maybe baby will pet the cat. Most likely try to put it in his mouth. Can a baby dehydrate from drooling???? Asking for a friend.....

So you’re all three going as DH dressed as Paul Ryan? Is it at least Working Out at the Gym Paul Ryan?

Two things...

1) I'm up this freaking early, and not heading to tailgate when the lots open.
2) When I woke up, it was less than an hour after the World Series game got over.

#2 got me to look up baseball score and number of innings. Yikes, I wouldn't have watched that entire thing even if the Yankees were playing.

Interesting tidbit I saw this morning "....the game took longer than the entire 1939 World Series, when the Yankees swept the Reds in a combined 7 hours, 5 minutes."

And speaking of long games we have over one hour of commercials starting at 11:00 today interspersed with some college football.o_O

Idk, he had said hunting Paul Ryan?something about a beard but I don't think he found what he wanted yesterday so in typical dh fashion, he has nothing done on it.
