Tornado warning to the north (weak). Tornado warning to the west (strong). Lets do this!

About once a week I will wander over to that uniform mega thread just to see how stupid it is. I can usually only stomach about 2 pages of it.

There aren't enough o's in stoooopid for that thread.
I have to keep up with it. How else would I know that a red face mask clashes with the white cleats or whatever lunacy they have going on for the day.

The vixen went through the tornado in '79 when she lived in Manson. She's absolutely terrified of bad summer weather now. Everytime the sky gets clouded over, she starts asking me if there are weather alerts.

According to the futurecast, all that moisture over Nebraska right now is going to change over to snow during the night as it moves up into South Dakota and Minnesota. I don't think you Twin City folks have to worry, but they could get hammered up north pretty good.

Not exactly sure.

MIL was in the Parkersburg one. She used to call every time bad weather hit. She’d ask if I was in the basement. I’d tell her no that I was outside looking for it. Surprised I didn’t kill her off with that.

The Manson tornado came absolutely without warning....and out of the northwest. That hardly ever happens. We built a house for some people there, and the lady said just before she went to the basement, she looked out the window and saw a pickup truck about 50 feet off the ground - it slammed into the side of the grain elevator, backed up, and then flew over the top. She said she would never forget that sequence in her life.

I remember that Parkersburg storm, too - that one was a doozy.

Ain't budging from the Thanksgiving week for change to snow tires. Never give in!

If I can't leave the house because I got summer slippers on Das Audi in October I'll be fine, got several cases of wine in the cellar and key lime pie in the freezer.

I got new rubber on the wife's ride but I have been holding out as long as possible on mine even though it needs it. I hate putting new tires on in the spring. It seems like I am wasting the best rubber on the easiest driving weather. I want fresh rubber to attack that snow - so I can try to dodge the fools who are driving on bald tires as well.

You inspired me to go back and get caught up. Your posts were about the only redeeming thing in that whole thread. I like it when you make fun of them periodically.

I should see if I can dig up my bib overall uniform concept from a past thread.

I had an interesting robo call message left. My Microsoft Windows has expired and I have to call immediately to get it reinstated. I wonder what that's gonna cost me.

People disappoint me every day.

I am running an online poker series for my company as part of our giving campaign we do every October. The people that complain and take it hyper seriously are out of control.

Yea, it's not going as smooth as last year but we lost our two main people that had been running it for 8 years last minute (like last week of September). Plus Poker Stars banned their app in 14 states which had us scrambling to find something else to play on.

It's been a whirlwind but it's for charity folks, not the World Series of Poker Main Event.

Side note: Raised $10,100 so far before our company matches it 100%

Just saw A Star is Born. Good movie.

I think she's talented and all (favorite stuff I've seen is her jazz standards) but I just can't get into Lady Gaga.

Even saw her documentary and didn't come away with any kind of new appreciation or anything, which I usually can with those types--the one about Amy Winehouse left me sad and infuriated that it all fell apart.
