This UNT job requires proposed syllabi for 2 survey courses and an upper-level course.
Cool enough, so I go looking through their course catalog for the upper-level course that would be my time period, and it's basically the same course as I prepped for Ole Miss.

That said, this school needs to learn something about arranging their course catalog. Only took a couple of minutes to find the course, but it should take even less. They don't even use the expected and simple way of grouping things, like a bunch of U.S. History courses, bunch of European, and so on. You just go fishing through all the offerings until you actually find what you're looking for, assuming that you know what you're looking for.

I have always had and used an outdoor clothesline, even when I had to buy one, dig a hole, add quik-crete and "plant" it myself. I love hanging clothes outside. Except when it rains 10 minutes after I've done so.

I always grew up with my mom drying everything. Which whatever other than the fact she dried EVERYTHING. Did I mention we lived on a busy corner? Yeah that was fun as a teenage boy. MrsWx grew up with nothing hang dried outside so it was an uphill battle from the beginning.

My mother always did when we lived in TX. It became somewhat...ummmmm...problematic when we moved to the Seattle area. :D

Anyone got any good bet ideas between coworkers?

One of my coworkers is an Iowa alumni and we make a bet every year. It's been pretty tame like free lunch or wear the other jersey for a day or something like that.

Any ideas what we could do for this year?

Loser has to wear women's clothing to Buffalo Wild Wings (or some similar place) on Super Bowl Sunday. (This was an actual deal in the fantasy league that my urologist and anesthesiologist had a couple years ago. My urologist, Dr. Korrect, was the loser.)

I've heard they get sleepy or fussy so BC, sounds like yours were the former. I definitely possibly cried when he got foot pokes in the hospital. Though that could have been sleep deprivation and hormones. Who am I kidding, I will probably get sad for these too. I don't like his little sad cries.

Tylenol before and find a doctor like this.

Actually, my hero was his predecessor, Dr. Leo Milleman. One of the most wonderful people I've had the joy of knowing. He took a malignant tumor out of my bladder back in 1997, and I miss not seeing him at the McFarland.
Milleman took care of my son in the mid-80s (undescended testicle - all you guys cross your legs now) and treated me for my first stone. He retired almost immediately afterward. Korrect saw me through the sepsis a few years back.

I’m sure it has changed a few times since my last kiddos, but a few years ago our ped told us to stop doing Tylenol before shots, he had read research reviews that claimed it lowered the shot’s efficacy. Of course we were told at a shot appointment after we had given her Tylenol before hand.
