I'm assuming this is some swingers type game. Get to go all freaky with the neighbor lady? Best you don't mention anymore.
No keys involved. Just inquiring about each others' pasts. The couple we were with was interesting because they were friends for a couple of years before they started dating.

This is my latest ad. I mean seriously,..........What the heck is this about???

I prefer dogs, but I like cats, and owned a couple in my earlier days. The thing that is really nice about cats is you don't have to find someone else to take care of them if you are going away. When Wifey-poo wanted another dog (about 2 years after our Sadie died), I tried to explain this to her (and my youngest daughter). I'm sure you know who won that battle. And guess who is in charge of lining up dog sitters, now that we are having to travel out of town for various things?o_O
We both love dogs but we don't have a good area for them to run here (it's mostly woods). While we were working, they would have been alone all day and they need people more than cats do. Now we're road-tripping for 8 to 10 days every other month, and we would be dealing with the dog sitter issue. Cats can be on their own for longer periods than dogs, as long as they have litter boxes and food & water. Dogs have to be walked several times a day, and don't function as well with a gravity feeder (they gorge).

This is pure ignorance on my part but do people really care about having pets so much that they wouldn't date someone that doesn't want pets?

I've never had pets growing up. I am allergic to Cats, Dogs, and Feathers/Birds. I don't really have the inclination to take care of something when I can barely take care of myself.

It just boggles my mind that something like that would be a hard no.
When I was your age I would've thought the same (Except about horses. I knew that horses were really important to some people) but as I got older I realized that pets are really important to some people. Therefore, somebody invented the term fur babies. There's nothing wrong with it but it's just something I would've never considered being that important until I got a bit older.

4-point pitch is the overwhelming favorite up here in Dodge. Cow and a calf are the usual stakes (dollar a game, half a dollar per set). It's OK, but sheepshead is a lot more cerebral. Kind of like bridge - you have to pay attention.
Loser(s) did the dishes after supper. :D

My dad taught me from a young age to stay away from horse girls. You'll always be 3rd in their eyes

1.) Their Horse
2.) Their Daddy ('s Money)
3.) You

Can't say I disagree with that assessment after having some horse girl friends.

Hey while I was you sorry mighta looked at a few things before ordering you that Hungarian mail order bride.

If you made the payment, I don't care. I can always write return to sender, did not order. Make sure you tell her to put some air holes in the box though.

Well I guess we should crown your ass then.

That and "Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay" are classics. I still cannot refer to Tampa Bay without the doubling up on it. Probably because for years the sports talk guys here said TampaBayTampaBay after some lines from a Coach Green interview or postgame.

Totally channeling my inner Joe Jackson today even though I doing my laundry at home.

I want a French maid, someone to wash my jeans
Each quarter I've made is lost in washing machines
I'm gonna change the world, I could be President
If I could just work out where all my Mondays went
Monday
Laundromat Monday

So come back after my Sconnie weekend (it was five stars, for sure!) to find that I, like @BCClone, am getting CNE's alerts.

After lunch I finally logged in and am back to normal. Well, as normal as RTT gets, anyway.

Had a fabulous fish fry Friday night, great retirement party for my brother on Saturday, even got to play some sheepshead. (Wondering if @WooClone15 or @cowgirl836 or @stormchaser2014 know how to play it.)

Never played it but saw a thing about it on pbs

Anyone know how to play Euchre? I grew up in Dubuque, IA, everyone played it, and that was the second card game I ever learned -- Go Fish was the first. I heard it is more of a river town game, but while working on a little construction project in far NW Iowa, the local bar had a Euchre tournament night. Talked my fellow workers and I into playing. The locals welcomed us right in -- fun night.

Family is from Eastern Iowa (Dubuque, Maquoketa, Davenport) and during family get togethers there is probably 4 Euchre games going.
