I was once at home alone and thought I heard the faucet downstairs turn on and off. And I once saw a shadow in my doorway at night when I was younger, but i’m pretty sure that was my dad or sleep paralysisSo anyone around here ever partially convinced they saw ghosts?
I was in a vacation lodge a few weeks ago. Had a beer very early in the evening but nothing else. I had just got done with a backpacking trip so perhaps the lack of good REM sleep was an issue.
Anyway, I was having an odd dream, but woke up to use the bathroom, and a young woman was standing over me at my bed. It wasn't sleep paralysis because I was able to move, and I think I actually said 'woah' or something when I first spotted her, and I was able to move to watch her.
She was wearing older clothing like out of something from Little House on the Prairie. The image of her appeared to be folding clothes or something on my bed, then went over to the other bed to do the same thing.
I eventually just got up and went to the door, and she disappeared as soon as I cracked the door open to let some light in.
The weirdest thing was that I've experienced sleep paralysis a few years ago and it creeped me out--this didn't.
If I simply dreamed it I was partially sleep walking, which is a first.
I don't know if this will make sense or not, but I don't not believe in ghosts. I have never seen one personally, so I really have no proof they exist (to me). But I also don't have proof that they do not exist. Clear as mud?I was once at home alone and thought I heard the faucet downstairs turn on and off. And I once saw a shadow in my doorway at night when I was younger, but i’m pretty sure that was my dad or sleep paralysis
Edit: I will say that I believe in ghosts too
Oh I completely get it. The double-negative description is one of the best types of description in the English language.I don't know if this will make sense or not, but I don't not believe in ghosts. I have never seen one personally, so I really have no proof they exist (to me). But I also don't have proof that they do not exist. Clear as mud?
