So anyone around here ever partially convinced they saw ghosts?

I was in a vacation lodge a few weeks ago. Had a beer very early in the evening but nothing else. I had just got done with a backpacking trip so perhaps the lack of good REM sleep was an issue.

Anyway, I was having an odd dream, but woke up to use the bathroom, and a young woman was standing over me at my bed. It wasn't sleep paralysis because I was able to move, and I think I actually said 'woah' or something when I first spotted her, and I was able to move to watch her.

She was wearing older clothing like out of something from Little House on the Prairie. The image of her appeared to be folding clothes or something on my bed, then went over to the other bed to do the same thing.

I eventually just got up and went to the door, and she disappeared as soon as I cracked the door open to let some light in.

The weirdest thing was that I've experienced sleep paralysis a few years ago and it creeped me out--this didn't.

If I simply dreamed it I was partially sleep walking, which is a first.
With a little embellishment you could send that in to Penthouse Forum

I don't know if this will make sense or not, but I don't not believe in ghosts. I have never seen one personally, so I really have no proof they exist (to me). But I also don't have proof that they do not exist. Clear as mud?

Speaking of clear as mud, I WANT to believe ghosts are real, but don’t think they are.

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, dear KCtio than are dreamt of in your philosophy. ;)

After Tom Selleck is gone as the AAG reverse mortgage spokesman I think Joey Fatone will take over.

Joey Fatone will be the AAG rep of my generation.

Spent 8 hours yesterday turning my 3 car garage from a 1 car garage to a 2 car garage. I'm still tired today. At least both cars fit in there now.

Impressive, that's a 66% auto occupancy rate!

I spent a good part of my day building a switched and powered back baseboard for this mid-century teak sideboard/hutch I bought. Has seven lights in the glass upper with seven separate plugs that had some odd Euro plugs. Baseboard at back was broken anyway so built this switched/powered strip to plug all of those lights into.

We have a deep 2 car garage PLUS the garagemahal that can park 4-6 vehicles depending on size, and we STILL only have my car parked inside. Bambi is currently deconstructed over in the garagemahal, so I suppose you could say that technically we have two cars inside...

"Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly"

" I wasted time, and now time doth waste me"

It's hell getting old!

Does this have anything to do with Boxster suddenly remembering that the big Surdyks wine sale ends today and he hasn't ventured over to check it out yet?

Unfortunately, most garages end up just becoming extra storage. Most of the tikme you're lucky if you're able to get just one car in there. It's even worse here in Texas, since we don't have basements.

You saying you would park your car in the basement?

I can barely fit my truck in my double garage.
