Volleyball update from last night: We only got two games in because of the rain but it was still fun. I'm getting better at spiking but my bumps still definitely need work. After the first game we were debating whether to play a second game or not because we could see the rain coming across the lake. We decided we would at least start it and see how far we got. The score was about 5-7 when it started sprinkling so we decided we would just finish and if we got wet so be it. Needless to say we were pretty soaked by the end of the game. We finished the game and ran to the restaurant nearby and decided that between the wind and the rain we should quit for the night. About as soon as we decided to leave the sun came out and the wind died down and it was a beautiful evening to sit outside at the restaurant. All in all it was a good night and lots of fun despite the wind and rain.
Also, yesterday I had a pretty sore throat and I was really dreading being sick for my upcoming trip. At dinner we had just sat down and we had a really enthusiastic waiter. Somehow someone joked about doing shots since it was "Thirsty Thursday". Next thing we know the waiter brought out a water ski with 5 shots of tequila on it and I was one of the lucky ones voted to do it. I had never had tequila before but I must say it does a really good job of remedying a sore throat even if it tastes like gasoline.

Someday if I'm retired and bored I'm going to start a clothing store. But instead of big and tall it will be small and tall. I wear 30x36 pants so It's always been hard for me to find clothes that fit but it seems like it's getting harder. Pants are always too short and so are shirt sleeves. Lay off the Big Macs America!

Stop stealing my idea.
Having my share of overshort friends in HS, under 5', I wanted to open a shop that catered to petite and tall females.
It'll be called "The Long & Short Of It".
SO you know how I said MrsWx took a friend into L&D. Guess who was 5cm dialated at 26 weeks with twins one of whom was breach? She is now getting ready for a C section.
Yeah being an old lady with a 34 inch inseam and a waist about ten inches less explains why I have been wearing boys size basketball shorts all summer and why capris never fit. Even if I find talls, the seat area kind of just hangs off me like I need an adult diaper to pad it out. And regulars just look like goofy long shorts. And old ladies shouldn’t wear short shorts cause eww.
I used to wear 30x36 Then 31 x 36 then 32 x 36, 34 X 36 you see the pattern.

Just landed and got a shower at one of the arrivals lounges, they had water... Thought I might need a shower now just in case I'm a but too early for check in at my hotel.

Eh, I agree with pants. He's definitely one of the worst posters in the cave. Plus, I'm not really willing to give him a pass at this point because if I remember right he's about the age that 2015 and I were when we started posting and he's much worse than we are. Maybe he got a pass when he first started posting since he was 13-ish but not now imo.
In completely unrelated news, Hoover (my alma mater, won girls state softball last night which is super exciting!
With exception that I am not a Hawkeye fan, I am everything that CF loves to hate lol.
