This. Although I generally express my displeasure with her too.

On the farm we had a group of neighbors who were always pains in everyones butt. they would do jack wagon things without thinking about how it would affect any of the other 80% of the neighbors. One time we decided to do something that really chapped their butts but the other 80% were fine with it. So they got lawyers involved to try to bully us around. We were sitting at the conference table and my 4' 11" elderly mom, after listening for awhile, basically cut into this.

The lawyer we had at the time told me a short time later he still brings this up at seminars and other things as one of the funniest times he has had because the room went dead quiet and was still quiet with them cowardly looking at each other after my mom got done.

I used to be the person that always believed good always wins in the end, but man, it’s definitely getting hard for me to maintain that ideology.

When good wins it is only temporary. Even then it can take a deal with the devil like WWII in partnering with the histories #2 mass murderer to beat histories #1 mass murderer. You can flip the rating, it isn't that important, still #1 and #2 with some competition from Mao. Thing is it nevered ended or won't have a happy ending. Humankind is like Game of Thrones.

If the accurate #s are ever located, we actually may have teamed up with mass murderer #1.

I don't believe in this country anymore. At 26 that seems like a tough pill to swallow.

It's pretty sad but I'm right there with you (well, except 18 years older.)

I talk a lot about where I'm going to move when the daughter graduates from high school. Recently, I've given more and more thought to just saying "eff it," and moving out of the country entirely.

Hubby left for his monthly trip out east today. Or tried to leave. “We are going to have to completely deplane so we can restart the plane to clear this instrument problem.” I mean restarting a plane is totally like restarting your phone to get it to work, right?

I'd be so scared to board again after hearing the crew make that announcement. Like, what is this plane running on? Windows XP?

I was on a plane flying out of Minneapolis one night that had a flat. They brought out a big jack and jacked it up and changed the tires while we were all still in the plane.

I imagine the deplaning would be due to how hot it is and the fact that nothing will be on.

Vacation update-I took LittleWx fishing this morning. Did not catch anything but we had a good time. I am doing homework in our room and MrsWx just texted me that one BIL (remember the hipster wedding) called her brother (19 years old I think) annoying and immature for continuing to complain about not being able to listen to his music on the way down.

Middle daughter Alana called me for Father's Day. She is a year away from getting her Master's in Public Health, and indicated that she and Ryan (her hubby) are probably going to move away from Seattle when she is done. Neither one is a big fan of the city, or its people. I asked where she thought they might land, and she said Chicago or Ann Arbor.

You can take the girl out of the Midwest, but........;)

Learn from CG and the other ladies here, don't let @cyrocksmypants know when your husband is not home. Or at least don't answer the door after you sweep the house and lock it up.

Apparently my FIL is now interested in getting a timeshare....FML.

If it was up to me, I'd have my MIL just give you hers. Those things are money eaters. I have told the wife she needs to make sure her sister and brother get it exclusively when her mother passes.

Picked up another 2.3 of rain between yesterday and this morning. Trying to sprinkle/rain again. Won't complain though took 18 across upper Ia. and things look better here than many places.

We got a lot of rain here. Storm damage too. Lots of flooding. I was able to get to work my normal way this morning, couldn't on the way home. Had to turn around, so I went the other way, had to turn around again, had to take the long way home. Here is a comparison of the the bridge I drive over everyday, normal water level vs today. The water was only 3 ft from the bridge this morning and it quit raining around 10am. Not my pictures. 35634135_10213862340971767_602835437798555648_o.jpg
