I caught the ISU Men's 4x400 NCAA championships race on ESPN2 last night. It was heart wrenching to see them miss the finals by literally thousandths of a second. They tied by the time on the screen for 2nd in their heat but when they started adding digits ISU came up short.

News says a Mason city guy ripped off this woman’s swimsuit and then tried to take off her shirt and shorts. Not making light of the charges, but wondering why the swimsuit was outside the shirt and shorts. Seems backwards to me.

Email from ISU today dairy days is at the dairy farm tomorrow 6-11. Pretty sure that means cows and ice cream.
My dad had cataract surgery today it went well, supposedly they'll do the other one next week.

Was there some sort of delay or special programming on network TV tonight? We were watching a couple of movies; I flipped on Colbert and they were still in the middle of the news. Right now it's just past midnight, and Jimmy Fallon is still on. Should have been Seth a half hour ago.
The vixen is pretty excited, our optometrist finally referred her to an optical surgeon in Marshalltown for cataract surgery this fall. Supposedly she will be able to get by without her glasses (except cheaters for reading). This has been a long time coming.....most of the time, she's blind as a referee at an ISU/KSU football game.
