Got the yard mowed. Steak and salad for supper. Bought a fogger to knock the gnats down and hopefully get some work done with out eating a pound of bugs while doing it.

Whatever happened to the new guy here. Did CG scare him off?
About to climb into the attic. If i dont survive, it was nice knowing you all.
Start early be done early! Off to help a guy out for about an hour then I get the rest of the day to myself.
@Runningman posted a couple of days ago. Nice job of trolling in the Wiggington thread.
Straight from the freezer to the furnace this year. Bah!
No chance to get my spring bulbs in on time before we went to TX. Then MOAR super low temps when we came back. Oy!
Caladiums haven't done squat yet. Neither have the begonias. But the Asiatic lilies are going batspit crazy.
Lew got three more trees planted this morning. Only four more fruit trees to go, then we need to get the flowering crabapples, the dogwood, and the magnolias planted. Busy busy busy...
Still here; I just haven't had much time this weekend to post. A long day of surveying on Friday turned into a nice evening. My usual 3 hour drive back to my hometown took a little over 4 hours after I stopped for ice cream and went 20 miles out of my way chasing the sunset. At least I got this picture out of the deal:

Yesterday was spent surveying some more, fishing, and helping get a small country church ready for special church and Memorial Day services this morning. Church this morning was lovely, I played in the brass ensemble, sang in the choir, and played Taps for the Memorial Day service. The church was built in 1881 and hasn't had regular services there since the 50's. My church is doing a 'Summer Revival Series' there this summer which is nice to see. This is the church:

I play in a local Town & Country band and we have a couple of concerts tomorrow for Memorial Day but other than it should be a relaxing rest of the weekend.

There was one summer I told my girls we would go to Tropical Sno (shaved ice) the first day it hit 90. I think it was August before we got there, and it was maybe 90 one day all summer. We have 5 softball games this week, a trip to the zoo, and an end of the year party in the park. Supposed to be 90+ everyday except one day forecast was only 88.
survived visit. I missed the first portion because I went to exchange scratched dresser. So I figured maybe a nursery tour already happened since it hadn't been mentioned. But then one parent went to use the restroom and was a long time returning. I started watching and noticed that they were taking a private tour of all the bedrooms........including DH and mine for which the door was mostly closed.
So I didn't offer to give a tour after that.
