I pronounce it like you do.

CG-Solid update. Baby burritos are great and all but one way or another they are usually escape artisits. Sleep sacks are where it's at.

Yep, told DH this was why we had the baby straight jackets on the registry. Blankets will be nice for holding but if we actually need them swaddled at night, it's a sleep sack thingy.

Did you get one of those $2,000 designer car seats?

Oh definitely! I should feel bad that at this point, the most expensive thing for the baby is the rocking chair which is mostly for me. No ragrets. Well, as long as I actually use it!

We bought a glider/rocker for the first and used it all the time. It just moved downstairs in the past few years, it moved with kids—once they were older we would sit in it and read before bedtime. For the 4th I bought a nice one from Redekers with the intent of moving it to the living room when we were done with it in baby/kid’s room. It has been in the living room for a year or so now.

I mostly used our rocker to read. All of them most likely to fall asleep nursing and usually did that in recliner or propped up in bed. And no did not fall asleep and kill anyone as paranoid husband would wake up and make sure I didn’t pass out.

Just wondering.....do you guys ever watch "The Incredible Dr. Pol"? The vixen and I are hooked on it. He pulls calves all the time - also checks for pregnant heifers, and does a lot of displaced abomasums. The show is fascinating. Whenever I see the cattle, I think of you. And I mean that in the best way possible.

I remember when the vixen was pregnant with Alana....we'd be reading in bed at night, and she'd hold her book up - and then you'd see the skin pop up like a little knob was underneath, and drag all the way across her stomach. It was so cool. That was what convinced me it was a girl.

I wasn't that paranoid but I have been known to wake up and find the kid in bed with us and wake her up saying "hey...put that thing back"

No ragrets.

Thought about trying to sneak in a bike ride before an ISU reception thingy at 600. But it's 91 with winds at 18 mph and gusts to 31 mph.

And, nope.

I dunno, Doc Pol has lanced some pretty nasty stuff. Also has his arm up all kinds of animals' butts.

We watch a lot of Dr. Pol around here (oldest wants to be a vet). I grew up on a cattle farm and saw a fe calves being born and more artificial insemination than a busy IVF clinic. One procedure I saw on the show that I never had heard of was when they felt a calf had died en utero and used a tool that
basically sawed the calf in half to make it easier to remove
