Beautiful day today.....amd I'm spending it on the couch. Turns out I caught some type of GI bug. After a fun morning catching up on all the puking I missed first trimester they had me come in to get monitored since I was having pretty awful cramping and kiddo had been quiet during this. Got very active on the car ride though.Baby looks good, I looked like hell but I'll live.baby didn't like the monitors, you could see the monitor bounce from the kicks to it, lol.
Up to 90 minutes without puke so this is progress!!
Little bugger was probably quiet because it figured if it moved, you'd puke some more!

Seriously though, it sucks being sick when you're pregnant. I'm glad everything looks to be okay for you. :)

What vegetable are you now?

Is there anything worse than having to rake rocks out of the yard?

That’s why we are getting rid of them and putting in mulch. Between kids and the dog it is going to end up in the yard and I would much rather run over mulch with the lawn mower.

Was going away from the super soft bday party but wife deleted the avatar gto made for me, so this will have to do for a bit.

The backyard borders an alley, I don't think I want to mulch the alley anytime soon.

So I am running this new program through EAA aimed at getting adults who have thought about learning to fly but never taken the next step. So far I have one person signed up to participate. I came and set up a table to advertise it at a local fly-in/ Drive in breakfast. No one has showed interest. So this has been an exciting morning.

Do very many people who go to fly and drives not have a pilot license?

The people in the KU thread that can defend hazing of any sort just confuse me.

Mom brag moment--the oldest got her first HR today! A bunch of softball girls she has played with were all posting about their first HRs this weekend, was getting a bit bummed for her but then she went and hit one herself. Hoping this carries into school season. Last year she started 2nd in the lineup, and she soon fell into a slump. By the end of the season she was not even in the line up any more. Maybe this is a little confidence boost, school practices start tomorrow.

Last night her favorite player took a 100+mph fastball to the "groin" and had to have emergency surgery. Yadi is out for a month now.

I would say if anything they are usually at least 75% attended by drive in people who have an interest in aviation, think it's cool or want to show their kids planes up close. So that was my target audience as my banner said "Your first step in learning to fly!" No dice today though. Disappointed that I probably won't have more than 3 or so people at this first event but that may be for the best. I plan to advertise the program at our future area fly-ins and other Young Eagle (free rides for kids ages 8-17) events that we host.
