After reading the Ms3 and Rev's sick posts I feel lucky to have escaped holiday travels with only a little sniffy scratchy throat cold. Was around two grand nieces colds and a plane full of people with death coughs (sounded like a TB sanitorium).
Yes, Boxster, you were lucky! We are now gathering strength to venture out later today to a NYE event we registered for a month ago. Don't want to waste the $30 I spent in anticipation of a nice uneventful evening. We'll probably chance a meal out as well. Quite the deal for us older folk - ha.

Speaking of "too much", I heard AC/DC Shoot to Thrill twice in two days on the radio. I know they are talking about sex but the gun analogy kinda creeps me out in 2018 even though I like AC/DC. Maybe going to nieces big church in Indy and seeing an armed guard at the door who had everything but an AR-15 slung over his shoulder got me thinking about this **** again. This is pretty ****** up.
I could get used to this day off during the week thing. Needs to become a thing for the entire year.
Opening a box of 54 chocolates was probably not my best "get in shape for the beach" move even if I did run on the track this afternoon. Mexico in seven weeks.

Hope everyone has a nice evening. Rocking baby to sleep and then back to board games with friends, including those in town from east coast. We did a bigger party last night baby wouldn't sleep....not noise but gas I think. Hope tonight is better cause dh and I kept trading off. Oh well, little man is still loved and the best part of this year. Ending the year with baby cuddles and time wigh friends and spouse....in pajama pants in my own house. I love it

You lose! Although little man is being silly and not sleeping again tonight. One more pre- midnight wakeup and your puppy kisses may win. Last night he slept 12 to 5 after they left
