True but that same instinct allows them to have forage like this with pretty much no competition for it..

;)

As someone who hates heights, photo #2 is a good reminder of why I'm glad I'm not a mountain goat.

Often drive by the farm where the Goats on the Go live.

@cowgirl836 Hubby won an iPad on a radio call-in contest right before baby #3 was born. Took it to the hospital with me. I am on my iPad at home a lot. ;) (I have upgraded, the old one is now the kids' iPad) Especially when you are nursing and/or pumping it is nice to have something portable to use to be online or watch/read something. Hubby has a keyboard case he uses with his work iPad. He also downloads shows from amazon prime to watch while on the airplane when he travels. I watched whole seasons of shows while I was rocking our youngest to sleep. Not all in one night. Like an episode a night—I wore headphones.

Picked up the oldest from softball tonight at 8pm 1st conference games are Monday. She is the returning varsity catcher. “I’ve been doing a lot of catching in practice, which is fine because it will help with my game stamina. And oh, my glove broke in an important spot, Dad needs to fix it” (Dad is gone until Sunday night):eek:o_O She has had this catcher’s mit since about 5th grade, it has been re-laced in a couple different spots already but she loves how it is broken in just right. Not sure how much longer it will hold out.

you mentioned several of the scenarios for which I anticipate wanting a portable device at hand! Think we'll have to find time here to go play around with some options in store.

I have a well-broken-in catcher's mitt she could borrow. It was my father's in high school. ;)

Goats on the Go is the one the forester recommended. I've seen articles about them, but for some reason I thought they were down in the Perry area. Are they up your direction?

Must be a similar outfit. There is a farm on County Line Road (Story/Boone county) that has goats, I thought they were the ones that went out to Ada Hayden last summer to help clean areas up.

@cowgirl836 I didn't have a tablet or smart phone until Z was starting to eat. They would be good for portability, but with the new born you will be holding them a lot. I enjoyed laying on the couch with the laptop on a footstool next to me.
Picture your self holding the tablet and baby and if you are comfortable essentially covering baby with the device. At least I tend to hold a tablet with both hands.

also good points!

The weather this spring blows chunks. 83 and windy yesterday and currently 58 and windy heading for a low of 47. Ran A/C some yesterday and betting the heat kicks in late tonight. Don't think the rollerblade gals are wearing thongs at the lake today! o_O

Also betting patio party I got invited to is going to be indoors.

As an adult, you don't really "have a bedtime," but I do have these rolling "deadlines" before bed . . .

5:00 PM -- can't nap after this time, or I'll never sleep tonight
6:00 PM - can't have caffeine after this time, or won't get good sleep
7:00 PM - can't have any sugar-filled treats after this time (cake, more than 1 cookie), or won't be able to sleep . . .

Planted a lot of plants today. Got most of my annuals in. DH finished tilling, edging, and mulching the second island area, looks pretty nice. Crabapple trees in full bloom and the smell is so good! Thought the garden place closed at 6 tonight so I went about 4:45 to get the rest of the annuals I needed, couple replacement plants for those that didn't make it through winter and some garden stuff..........they close at 5, oops. Well, got a couple things quickly that let me finish up my pots and replace one plant. Now DH is getting close to done on mowing and planning to grill steaks tonight.

Tomorrow I think we brave the newly opened IKEA to get the rest of the baby furniture. Would like to finish up my flowers too, if it doesn't rain. And put in some garden stuff. No idea if it's too early for that yet though. Starting to run short on weekends to get stuff done before we become a party of three!

Alaska Brewing Co. Amber is a pretty good beer. Summitt's Lazy Sipper is fine if you like beer that tastes like skunky Old Milwaukee, well at least the version I had.

Hey @BCClone

Your school won the shuttle hurdle relay and the 110. Was one of yours on the relay team?

Wish he was on my team. Unfortunately my kids go to the wife’s school. They got DQ’d in the finals. Warme wouldn’t release him on hurdles. Next year he is being looked switching.
