I’ve been drinking red wine tonight and feel like @BoxsterCy. Is there a game watch tomorrow? I might be able to make it. Also, I installed a ceiling fan in my youngest daughter’s room. It ended up crooked so I’m guessing all installed lights are haunted tonight. Also also, my senior daughter went to hang out at a boy’s house tonight. Our last name starts with 2 e’s and do does the boy’s. That’s weird.

at Darby’s!

Some day I'm going to figure out how to pronounce your last name. You couldn't have been a Smith or a Jones, could you!?!

Hard pass on the **** story. But it’s funny, because I’ve started drinking Almond milk instead of milk over the last few weeks.

And yes! The bed took for feckin ever though. It was like 6 boxes of stuff and I had to put together like 13.6 million pieces for it.

Also, I bought a floor lamp and went to put it together and get it up and it’s no where to be found. It’s just totally gone. So......haunted.

So you're still haunted in the new place, good to know.
Also, I spent way too much of the day before little man arrived trying to find a floor lamp for his room. I was like, legit in labor and in denial. We went to four places looking for a lamp. Also got new pillows at BBB. I was lying on the beds trying pillows getting some serious looks from people. Looking back, that was insane. And I didn't get a lamp :(

My youngest daughter is doing a STEM fair project about which compost material works the best. She has 4 aluminum pans loaded with dirt and seeds in our office. Our office smells like coffee and bananas. It kind of smells good in there, at least as stale coffee and rotten banana smells go,

My kid is going to wake up in an hour and not want to go back to bed. I'm going to regret staying up this late.

It's called "nesting". Lots of us do dumb stuff like that shortly before the birth. Me included! :)

I feel so wild and free right now. And rebellious. I won't be so hot to trot at 4am
Nope. At 4 you’ll be crabby and hangry, like every 4 am, the same as it will be for all your kids, assuming you have more. But that smile you may get or that kid falling asleep on your lap makes it so worth it. Man, tell the kids in my kitchen to stop chopping up those onions.

what about when the smile is cause he's comfy after just putting spit up down my front and it all collects in my bra like a little spit up bath??? His little sleepy smiles are the best though. And his little head thrashes trying to somehow find my collarbone comfy. What a goober.

all right, time to go to bed. He's been asleep for like THREE HOURS this is the best! And I've been asleep for none of them, lol. Good thing he's generally been needing 12 hours of "night" sleep. Broken up, but at least it'll hopefully be 9am before I need to be alive. Oh wait, it's Saturday! DH can take him right away. I definitely don't pretend to be more asleep than I actually am on weekend mornings so DH will take him. Don't tell. I do most of the night wakeups anyway, he owes me. Also, I do any nighttime diaper changes cause DH is so damn slow that baby wakes up more. Like, what's he doing in there???? Writing a book? Why does it take him like 5 full minutes to get the diaper changed? I think he tries to get diaper cream meticulously into every fold and crease......newsflash, there's a lot of those. I just slap it on and figure I'll do a better job when the sun is up.
