Babe took a nice long nap. Finished ALL the flowers.........realized I still need more though. Got the patio table stained and sealed, dishes done, laundry put away, and a package ready to go to the nieces. Very productive nap time!

Literally watching paint dry. I are excite.

After another coat on baseboard tomorrow it's going to be furniture moving and change out time. The old plasma is like 80 pounds, 60" of awkward, not a single lifter thingie but an easy two person move. The TV stand weights 216. Problem is now that Pants has left the cities the only people I know are broken down old men. Even the 220 pound guy that used to be my go to lift-n-load help guy can't lift as much as I can anymore.
You should come down and fix my basement plumbing. It backed up again

Just read the yearly article about farm equipment clogging up the roadways this time of year and drivers need to be careful. What's never mentioned is that drivers need to be careful of idiot farmers driving their combines on the road at night with the headers still on. Cousin said she almost hit a combine head on with a corn header on it the other night. She said she couldn't see the flashing lights on the ends of the header with the header tilted up.

I understood 30% of this.

There are some jack wagons out there. Saw a couple guys take off down blacktops with 30’ platforms with no lead car. I transport in daylight and always have a lead car if possible.

I'm not good with plumbing, more of an electrician kind of guy.

With that said I did today order a new cartridge insert for my Grohe kitchen faucet that's leaking all over the counter. Glad I found the parts list that came with it 15 years ago.

I can help with the lifting, just give me until.........early December?

Well, I think most of what Zombie does is trash, but it really turned me off how much he tried to go into detail of the background of why Michael is why he is and why he does what he does. I find it so much more creepy to have a killer just kill without much for rhyme or reason.
I can understand that. I'm all for Loomis saying I looked into his eyes and saw pure evil. That's good enough for me.

Same - I was in the best shape of my life in my early 40s.
I was in great shape when I was 50. Then I got the double hernia and started going to happy hour after work instead of working out. Once I had surgery and recovered from that happy hour won out. I really need to get my act together again. Maybe if I tell myself that about 10,000 more times I'll start to listen.

Would a set of furniture sliders work? I've used them on some taller pieces of furniture and they worked well for me. I've used both the long ones and the shorter (about a foot) where you put them under each corner. I don't think they are very expensive, I've had them so long I wouldn't have a current price.

At fifty, Lew & I did a week long kayaking trip in Alaska with ISU Rec. We put in at the top of College Fjord and paddled all the way down to Whittier; packed all our own gear, camped on sand & rocky beaches. It was amazing, and after the first day & second morning (when we were ALL dying) we did great. Then the arthritis started in the back and the scoliosis set in, and I became more & more sedentary. I guess you could say I'm now twice the woman I was, so...yay?
