Brewers fan base reminds me of the Iowa State fan base. One loss after 12 wins in a row and everyone thinks it's over.
Trying to convince a three year old that we should just lay around and do nothing is probably harder than rocket science.
Since I’m in Richmond this month, I just can’t justify driving 2/2.5 hours to DC for a 7pm kick and then driving 2/2.5 hours back at 10:30/11. Between the Amazon Firestick the people I’m renting short term from provided and my fubo subscription (thanks @GTO im pretty sure you First mentioned that) I comfortably watched at home.
We ARE 3-0 in games played while I’m not physically in the state of Minnesota, though, so I think we found what the problem was.
Actually I think there may be other variables involved. Also 3-0 since I bought my new ISU hat (and wore it before the game) and also when @ImJustKCClone wears her special fuzzy slippers. I think it requires all 3. Maybe there's a variable supplied by each RTT'er.
AlmondGirl better do a spreadsheet.
AlmondGirl already did her part by voluntarily locking herself in the bathroom for basketball games a few years back.
Yesterday I put on a vintage 90’s Iowa State sweatshirt I had found while looking for marching band clothes for Homecoming for my oldest. I was going to change into pj’s to watch a movie, but saw that we were ahead and did not want to jinx it. So add vintage 90’s sweatshirt to the list. Lord knows that it did not see that many wins when I wore it in college.
I've worn my oversized plush ISU Cyclones hand at some point during all three wins. Was out of town for TCU and decided not to take it with me and you saw the results.
Iowa State is 2-0 when I have to work a shift at the new job while the game is going on.
ISU is 3-3 when I curse a lot during the game.

This good looking bartender (or helper I guess) didn't know who who Amy Winehouse was because some dude said she looked like her. I piped up "what, are you 17 or something?" And she responded "actually yes I am".
