I really liked the simple scarves and hats of the other teams.
I always remember RL having something like that. Could be off because I'm not a big Polo guy
Well, that's disappointing.
Now wondering what ever become of my little red book, Luther's Small Catechism. I know I still had it back in college. Remember a few conversations in old Dana House (midnight bull sessions) with some of the catholic high school educated kids who we shocked that we were not actually total heathens. They had apparently been taught nothing, at least back then in those high schools, of other sects or religions which I thought was odd.
Not pointing this meme at anyone, just had to throw it in after the big Lutheran discussion:

There's a group of movies that is on constantly - Mrs. Doubtfire, Shawshank, etc. But yeah, I've noticed a big uptick in Milla's movie recently, too.
And old Star Trek movies. It seems one is on all the time on one of the Encore channels

So........your dad was like the priest on caddy shack?
Ha! He loved to play golf, wasn't a drinker tho. Just an average ordinary Lutheran pastor.

Having had to memorize the books of the Bible for confirmation classes, I had no idea (or was just ignorant) to other versions of the bible. Catholic Bible has a few books I had never heard of. A few weeks ago my nephew (freshman at Iowa State, in the Lutheran based fraternity) needed a Bible. I told him we may only have Catholic versions.
I did find my bible from my Lutheran confirmation days, had my maiden name in it so really old.
