Last Winter Olympics this rich couple gave a country a chunk of money and they got to cross country ski for them.
They could give me a chunk of money and I'd let them ski on my behalf. No probs.
An American in Paris
We're changing nights to just before DH leaves...........sorry WDSM!
I started on how ugly the sweaters/gloves/jackets are for the US team and DH starts telling me how much the stuff costs. The ugly Xmas sweater is like $600. $300 jeans. $150 hat.
The he says "guess on the gloves" the ones that I'm like are fugly and fake western looking. They are the ugliest part so they're probably the most. I guess $700. Nope. $995 for those gloves. That is ridiculous. Ralph Lauren should get fired.

Missouri Synod, we're laid back. Wisconsin Synod is a little more strict.
Grocery talk I'm cheap Aldi's for staples, then Fareway for meat. Also Kwik Star/trip for bananas, etc.. they also have reasonably priced milk not super cheap but not gouging.
Main roads are much improved over earlier. Moved snow most the day today. Thought I had missed something for work went back and checked calendar I'm good till April.
Olympics like watching wish they would show more than figure skating. The American speed skater guy pissed me off when he became a whiny ***** on twitter for losing the coin flip on being the flag bearer after a tie vote. If there is more to that story I apologize but that's the version I heard. I thought the opening ceremonies looked pretty neat not overdone and pretty cool looking.

I understand and agree, definitely laid back compared to what I've heard about the Sconnie Synod. I began life as a Missouri Synod Lutheran and didn't leave because I had any big time problems with it. Although when I moved to my first home out of college most of the people talked as if the Missouri Synod were all Nazis or something, which surprised me a bit. Granted it is more conservative than ELCA.
according to DH, they were semi-stolen from another company who makes a strikingly similar glove and RL contacted several times with questions on over the past couple years and hinted at partnering with them before going quiet and then coming out with these.
DH sounds like a real expert on the fashion glove industry!
