Critics spoke pretty highly of the film, I haven't seen it yet but would like to. LMK what you thought of it......reminded me of a time when my younger sister brought her black BF home from college, against my Mom's advice. Dad was very cool toward him, until the next morning when he (Dad) was out working in the yard and the guy came out and asked if he could help. By supper time the two of them were having a beer and laughing together.
It's not my normal genre, but I thought it was pretty good. I'm sure others on here could give you a better idea if it stacks up well in comparison to others. They recreated a lot of awkward racial encounters pretty spot-on, albeit a little on the cliche-ish side. There were a few good twists throughout, and it makes you realize the hints that were laid out for you as you look back at it.
It was more of a suspense movie than a horror, IMO.
