Wherever I go, there I am.
Snuck in a ride before the weather does a big poopie. Had a sobering moment over by Lake Harriet where I came on a bad bike accident. :( Guy had face planted on the path after his front forks or suspension broke. Guessing he flew over the bars and hit the pavement with his face. His face was a bloody mess and he was unconscious. Luckily this happened (I didn't see it, came by like a minute later) right next to the parkway road and the first guy that stopped was a paramedic who was calling out respiration etc to the guy calling 911.

On a less gruesome note I saw a gal walking her cat on a leash a few miles later. I assume the cats name was Dog. No one other than KC is likely to get that and she might even be too young to.

Yep....the vixen had me put all her geraniums in the storage room last night, plus she pulled her mint plant and hen and chicks inside too. Picked the last of the bell peppers - and there were a LOT of them! - and also remembered to unhook the hoses from the outside faucets. Winter's coming.......
Great year for peppers it seems. I had 5 plants on the deck and had almost as many peppers as @carvers4math had tomatoes (well, maybe not quite).

Was that it? Usually our hot peppers are crazy and we can't get much for bells, just puny crapola. We have had beautiful bell peppers this year, and still have tons I need to go pick before Friday. Was giving husband credit for putting compost dirt in pepper garden but maybe it's just a good year for them?

Still have a million hot peppers. Does anyone know about drying the cayennes? Do I need to tie them up or can I just lay them out somewhere warm or what?

Let me preface this and say I have never had a dream about cyclone fanatic before. Well last night I had a dream that a prominent CF poster was outed as being a young 16-year-old. It was super odd because people were making threads about how we have been all duped.

The poster was like so what if I lied about my age and etc. definitely one of the strangest dreams I ever had. Maybe I’ve been reading way too much CF.

I thought this was MeowingCows at first and was going to joke that it was his subconscious telling him he really is Cyber.

Woke up with hurting throat. Thankfully, I got better as the day went on. Took a sick day though. Z went to her check up. She's officially 3.5' tall.

Bachelor chow impulse buy at grocery (on sale) a few weeks ago, honey chipotle salmon. Tossed in the mini convection oven tonight and it's really good for frozen convenience food. Actually, darn yummy stuff.

3'tall. I think they had her right there at 36".
But she's growing.

First time they took her shoes off to weigh in. I asked them why, and said that I weighted 6 pounds of metal in those things to beef that # up. They were nice, but didn't encourage my hypothetical cheating.

The #1 focus of tonight's library book was to craft my response to an English lit scholar who looked at some of this material. I knew that she and I had huge differences, but it took until tonight to nail it down, after 2 or 3 years of fighting through it.

She started her study at a different time. I knew that she wasn't strong on the history part, which made sense for a different discipline, but she didn't ask that historian sort of question and go back to the beginning.

So I sketched an outline and started to roll. Sent it to my adviser, who has really been wanting to see that, and she immediately said, "Oh yes, that works."

Book got stronger tonight, and the first 7 pages leave something to make every reader uncomfortable with one presupposition or another. It's becoming something really good and usable.
