Mine is a semi rigid lump/bump/thing on the top of my arm just above my wrist. Slight pain to the touch/when pressure is applied but very bearable. I have not hit it or injured it that I have noticed so it is just kind of odd.

Stick a fish knife in it and see if anything drains out. Almost nothing a good fish knife cannot fix.

If nothing drains out or no bot fly larva crawls out you might make a DR appt.

I just had a cyst removed from my shoulder. It was basically a giant zit under the skin. It had been there for a couple years, but it only started to hurt the last few days.

Was it like this?

Did Ganglion cyst ever come up on the Dr. Google? That is what it sounds like. You can try hitting it really hard with a book to break it up.

Had a ganglion cyst removed off my foot...twice. Still got a cool scar 25+ years after the second surgery. Still bugs me sometimes. Not sure if it's the scar tissue being a b****, or it's coming back.

@stormchaser2014 I'm going to guess you went to a GP instead of a dermatologist? The video I linked to...she nearly always manages to remove the sac the cyst was encased in.

@wxman1 Maybe it's a lipoma.

Edit: "linked" instead of "liked"

Wow. No it was about dime or penny size. GP. I go for free since my mom works there. He managed to get the capsule as he called it out, which he said is difficult to do. I watched him do it, it was really stringy.

I have a cyst on my right arm that just bothers me that it’s there. I took a sharp hunting knife to it and tried cutting it out. On right arm so accuracy was a little tough. After enough blood where I couldn’t see what I was doing I quit and gave up. Poured a bunch of hydrogen peroxide on it but it still survived.

Not exactly sure.
Neighbors got their new hot tub fired up on their patio. Etiquette question. Is it before or after you get in do you take off your swimsuit?

I haven't checked work email in over a week. I am surprised it isn't worse than this.

I was trying to get my inbox reduced before I left. Went from 12k last fall to 7k but it crept back up to 8300 this month. Had it to like 7500 when I left. I'm scared to see it on Monday. Also because I don't want to see all the **** to deal with either. Haven't checked since we took off the 13th. Told myself I needed to not check and force a good practice run on people.

What's the reasoning behind keeping all that mail in your inbox? Seems inefficient and cumbersome. Once I read an email, it's either deleted or filed away if it's something I should keep. My Inbox is always empty.

I had it all stored away at one point and then my boss left and I had her job too. It's never recovered. A lot of mine end up requiring follow up or other info so I let it sit until it's complete and then it gets buried. I don't like filing until it's done or I'll lose it (and yes, I flag important stuff but that gets long too). Lot of times once it was dealt with, I moved on to the next thing and didn't file away the emails. Also, I pretty much don't delete things that aren't random announcements/crap. Been burned too many times on that.
It's my project for this summer before I'm on leave to keep getting the right folders set up (so I can find the **** I file!) and get the inbox mess dealt with. DH has asked me this too - he gets a lot of auto report type stuff that he can quickly check and file. Almost all of mine are things that require a response or something from me. Or I'm waiting for someone else to give me something. I had made good progress last fall and have tried to maintain it at that 8k level. Am trying to set aside 30 minutes a week or so to go back through the week and file/delete anything that's now dealt with.
