I was planning on driving out to Virginia this weekend. Being that they kept telling us how awful Saturday would be I decided to wait until Sunday. In Omaha Saturday didn't start getting bad until about 6pm. Of course now I'm in the office. I'll check the radar tomorrow and decide if I should leave in the afternoon or early Monday morning.

Yeah, I'll drive down to KC and take 70 across and then 64 all the way. If I had driven today I think I would have been in all those thunderstorms. Now I should be a day behind them

Does anyone else have a totally unanalytical, illogical, emotive, unscientific, over-dramatic, left-brained, self-proclaimed (starving) artist sister-in-law that regularly posts Neil DeGrasse Tyson on Facebook and comments "This!!!" ?????

I think we broke a foot of snow. I would like to get some work done sometime.

Easy foot plus here. No plows here yet today which is very odd for my city. Did get a smile watching neighbor's toddler granddaughter out helping grandpa shovel with a little fireplace scoop. Super cute image in her little snow suit.

Glad the northerners headed home last night after Trivia rather than spending the night. Much worse here this morning. Last night about 10pm the roads were still just wet with very light snow in the air.

Trivia was once again a fun night. We didn't have "celebrities" every round but started out strong by having Alan Lazard. Monte was also back last night. Jeff Woody was a fun one, Kevin Dresser was also into trivia. Had both Christy JL and Joe Lynch different rounds. She said she is excited about the player from Argentina we just signed--she actually sought out ISU. They are currently recruiting 2021 players (girls who are currently freshmen). One 6'4" gal from Xavier who we have played against this year in club ball.

We totally bombed one category, and of course there are always questions where someone on the team gave the right answer and we went with someone else's answer. Tied with 3-4 teams for 7th place, prizes go out to 6th place.

You going to go out and blow your driveway into theirs and see if you can get a replay?

My driveway is in back and no way to even get the snow chucker into the front unless I drive it down the alley, up the street and up another street. Newspaper guy just trudged up the street with the Sunday paper, was surprised to see him. Said only our street wasn't plowed out yet. Guessing they are waiting for a front end loader. Think 14" of snow would be too much to push up this dead end hill street. Would probably had gotten only half up.

And it's snowing a little again.

Sometimes my efficiency even amazes me. While blowing snow, i managed to do a little spring pruning in our front lawn. One Barbary bush complete.

Little devil thorn bush! I may have trimmed back some of the periwinkle ground cover along my driveway.

Would be a great day to get in touch with my inner sloth but the sidewalk and yuge plow row of snow isn't going to shovel itself. Waiting for confirmation on that before I throw on the Sorels though.

You guys ever know a family that doesn’t know how to smile? My wife’s family, all the males ones for three generations (all I’ve seen), can’t smile normally. They all look like they have a bad cause of diarrhea and need to use the restroom. Or they have just got punched in the spine and are in serious pain.

Not sure who the gal is hosting market to market on IPTV but she's kind of easy on the eyes.

My BIL can't smile for pictures. When ever they try to take a family picture, his eyes go half closed. He can smile, just not in pictures.
