Random Thoughts X (The 9th Regeneration)

3A Game ended at 1:15a.

Between the rain/lightning delays Thursday and Friday, the Sigourney semifinal game going 9 innings with a 15-12 final on Thursday night (Clarksville won that one), and then the EBF - Regina marathon, the husband is Wiped. Out.

Pretty busy day at work. got back got cleaned up and took a 20 mile ride on the Saskata trail up at Faribault. Was a nice ride in the shade.
 
May need to learn the rules to tennis. 10 year old has begged me to play the last two days(have agreed both times). We only have one racquet so second person uses a racquetball racquet. So we play with BC and BC jr rules. After a couple times, he has developed quite nicely. At the point where we need to learn a few more rules so if he plays someone else he actually knows what he's doing.

It's a fairly simple game. Pretty fun if you can actually begin to volley back and forth.

Ginger son helped put a roof on a Habitat house today. Hat, sunscreen he reapplied, and long sleeves. He knows from lifeguarding not to mess around.

Tennis is a sport where my kids have made it to State before. They like it because much like wrestling, you can play your way into your position through challenges and aren't at the total whims of a stupid coach, although their coaches have been plenty stupid. Good sport for kid who can think on his feet. My brother is a coach at another school and has helped them quite a bit.

Actually, no...it's about "Pop Devil" hair coloring...but I don't recall every googling anything about coloring hair...I've had my done by the same person for over 15 years...
