When I was a kid growing up we had an antique Victrola. We had a turntable (or record player as they were generally called) and tape players, but the Victrola was like magic from another era.
I'm kind of having mixed emotions. I told our club director of coaching that I wouldn't be coaching next year unless they were really in a bind. After our loss in the tournament this morning our season is over. Between multiple injuries and struggles on the field it has been a really trying season so having it over is a bit of a relief. However, I have coached some of these girls for four years and I have to admit being a little heartbroken as the season came to a close.
I remember finding a working Victrola with some records in an attic when we were kids. I can't remember where for the life of me but I bet that thing would be worth some money today.

Scary situation to start my day. On the way to work my left front tire blew out while going 70 on the highway. Was worried if my car was even going to be drivable with a spare on. Called my dad and he helped me get the spare on and followed me to work. Got a replacement put on this afternoon.
