A fiend of mine in law enforcement posted this. At first, I thought "Who would choose that bumper sticker and pull it out and slap it on his or her car?". Then I though "Hawkeye fan?". But then I noticed the license plate....
Probably not, hence his on-court "celebrations" with his ginger teammates. Can Woodbury's arms even reach?
Wife has been looking at the menu for The Cafe in Ames. She sends me there during football season to bring her home desserts. She LOVES the bakery items.
I see they have roasted bone marrow, and some sort of charred octopus in a pear and bean sauce!
I'll probably try the bone marrow this fall. The wild boar sloppy joe is something I'd like to try as well.

She was able to drive them home, and ended up going to the emergency room later that evening.
The kicker, though, was Daddy's response when she called to tell him about her foot. Totally deadpan: "How old are you? You're getting old - you need to be more careful!"
She's 66. He's 92.![]()
