I can't believe how long it took to smoke 4 ducks. And I get to smoke 4 more tomorrow after work.
Well, I looked it up and it is some sort of email marketing thing. You wouldn't know it by the commercials.
Watched a video this morning - this was the next up. Boxster & Great might recognize it, but I did a double-take at the guest star:
You may want to come over sooner if you want to try it. They change their menu seasonally and by what they can locally source. Some things always seem to be on the menu (like their Mac and cheese) but they change things a lot. I was just looking at their menu, too, and almost went there for just a dessert. I could walk there to get a dessert, that would help offset it, right?
This month Z has been starting to forego naps at all for her grandparents. Sadly, she still thinks she needs to stay up till 9.
I think we need to keep him up later closer to 8 at least. He is going to a hotel and pool with my in laws on Friday night. He is nearly impossible to get to sleep away from home so that should be fun for them. Add in the fact my wife wants him to nap there before we bring him home on Saturday it will either be an absolute nightmare or really easy to get him to sleep Saturday night.
As I recall my last two year old, he went to bed at 8:00, got up at 7:00, and didn't nap, which worked for our schedule. I think they said back then they needed 11-12 hours of sleep for a two year old, but since the experts always change stuff, it may be some other recommendation by now. I have been sleepy since the time change, 11-12 hours sounds pretty good.
Well, I can certainly see why you're going to France. That's awesome.France. And to see this:
I figured it was just for the fact that cigarette smoking isn't looked down upon there.
So, I was talking to Texas sis last night on the phone making plans for my trip down there next weekend for Daddy's 93rd birthday. She took him out for a drive in the countryside to see the bluebonnet bloom - a rite of spring for many Texans.

Anyhoo, they made a pit stop at a convenience store, and she was walking up a low ramp to the entrance. She turned to say something to Daddy, and she stepped on the edge of the ramp. Her foot slid off...net result...broken 5th metatarsal, same thing Georges had. She was able to drive them home, and ended up going to the emergency room later that evening.
The kicker, though, was Daddy's response when she called to tell him about her foot. Totally deadpan: "How old are you? You're getting old - you need to be more careful!"
She's 66. He's 92.

There's something I have in common with George Niang (aka @isulive2train) besides my fine ISU business education. I, too, broke my 5th Metatarsal. Except mine didn't happen during a silly basketball game. Mine happened during the manly pursuit of playing Just Dance.Her foot slid off...net result...broken 5th metatarsal, same thing Georges had.
