Baylor wearing the human highlighter unis I see...

UNC-Wilmington was wearing a bright yellow uniform yesterday, I'd call it canary, with dark teal lettering, numbers, and trim. I kind of liked it. And I thought Maryland's yellow unis were similar to ours. I saw them briefly yesterday, and they looked more lemon yellow. Who knows...could have been the lighting.

Another opinion that will get me flogged. CW hating on douche country while dressing like a frat boy.

I've seen the Baylor ones "in person"...they are blinding!!

It's kind of fun making **** Iowa memes when I'm sitting on conference calls. Gotta be prepared for hate week next fall

Drive-by post using Nurse Ratched's laptop:

Channeling my inner Rulzz and Chaser and watching Class 2A Minnesota girls playoff hoops on TV. Who woulda thought? Martini wanted to watch the NCAA, but I told him to **** off.

Observations on Roseau vs. New London-Spicer:
  • Roseau, home of thee Megan Taylor! :) The queen of ISU hoops.
  • Rep. King would be so ******* unhappy since the national anthem was sung by three Hmong HS boys from St. Paul; Yang, Yang and Xiong. #otherpeoplesbabies. **** you King.
  • Three Borowicz sisters on the court at the same time for Roseau, yah, population 2600 but the gals are pretty good. Plus cool to play with their 8th grade little sis.
  • Just ******* shoot me if you ever see me in a Capt. Kangaroo toupee like the London-Spice coach. JFC.
  • Announcers have yet to mention Megan Taylor. WTF?
  • And, last but not least, really good fundamental hoops by these small town schools.
  • Oops, one moar, the 8th grader just stole the ball and assisted it to her senior sister.
BTW, this wine tastes a little "off" but drinking it anyway.

You can bump 8th graders up to varsity didn't know that. I've seen it done in summer softball because they'll be 9th graders that fall. Birdy will know more about these rules than me by a long ways.

So let's say, hypothetically, you're a single dude and, hypothically, you have a pie. Do you cut it in slices still or just grab a fork and dig in? Hypothetically.

I cut it into slices until you're over halfway done with it, then it becomes a challenge to finish it.

From what I can find in Iowa, 8th graders can only move up to varsity in softball/baseball since the majority of the season is in the summer. They are technically 9th graders as soon as school is let out the last day.

I have heard it happening in other states, especially in smaller towns. I don't know if it happens here, but by rule it looks to be illegal especially for boys. They are concerned about the physical and maturity differences between a 14yr old 8th grader playing against potentially 19yr olds.

Ours will turn 14 a week before the first softball game. At this point she is their best option for varsity catcher (our school is severely lacking softball players, our "best" pitcher is also an 8th grader).
