So, doctor says removing the bump on the back of my head may leave a scar. So far survived a shark attack is my leading thought for explanation of it.

You like animals better then kids so you could go with saved a baby gazelle from a savage lion and the scar is where the lion tried to give you the death bite. You would have died if the lion had not been severely allergic to your shampoo and had a asthma attack allowing you to grab up the baby gazelle and dash to safety.
That's why I was going to go with shark attack. See, I was snorkeling and taking pictures of sea turtles for my side job of nature photographer. A tiger shark came out of nowhere to attack the turtle, but I grabbed it and repeatedly punched it in the nose. It swam away, but not before biting my head. Thankfully the sea turtle put me on its back and brought me back to shore.
