Evidence is mounting that I will be injured riding my bike this summer. Toss up whether the cause will be another careless biker or the car driver like the one that blew through the three way stop today at 30 mph.

Moar NWICY riding conditions today. Wind at 20 with gusts to 31 mph. Woof! You know it's windy when a crosswind wobbles you.

Only thing of note in 20 miles was the gal at mile 12 who had awesome shoulder muscles.

One other note, anyone under 45 riding a nice road bike that is passed by someone as old as I am riding a near vintage hybrid bike should be really embarrassed.

These words kind of hit home after hearing the mother in law daughter in law story out of Georgia and mom and daughters story out of Texas.

I've been out in the garden - what did I miss?

Ah, the usual. Gun toting mama and gun rights advocate guns down her two daughters and then she is gunned down by the police in Houston. Her hubby escapes.

Georgia mother-in-law guns down her DIL who was estranged from her son. Did not shoot the grandkids.

Florida is ****** that Texas and Georgia are hogging the crazy this weekend.

Finally made it to the UK. Been up about 32 hours. Desperados is just as good as I remember

what is Desperados? What part are you in?

Last week - and not caught up on the news - DH floated the idea of doing a UK trip next spring which I've wanted to do since I was there in college. Figured that's something that would have to wait quite a while if we have kids first. Then we read the news and we're like so the price may be better now but will there still be a "UK" to visit??????

what is Desperados? What part are you in?

Last week - and not caught up on the news - DH floated the idea of doing a UK trip next spring which I've wanted to do since I was there in college. Figured that's something that would have to wait quite a while if we have kids first. Then we read the news and we're like so the price may be better now but will there still be a "UK" to visit??????

Desperados is a French beer made with tequila. I am in Horsham which is just south of London. You would probably like it because it rhymes with *****.
