Couple of things I noticed while gone:

1. I agree with WDSM. Clonefan34 is probably BDK.

2. Very disappointed I missed "staunch Clinton supporter" Since78 shock the world and do the unexpected and switch his support to Trump.

lollerpants who didn't see number #2 coming. We've seen that for months. He'll probably show the same amount of effort for Trump that he did Clinton, by which I mean talking **** on here and not bothering to vote.

and if I read correctly, very sorry to hear that about your father, Pants.

No. No gore and not really horror. Think of it as Cube in the first half of the movie (trying to figure out how they got there and what is going on) and more of an exercise in morality in the second half (who lives, who dies). It's low budget, but you just can't stop watching for some reason.

The little girl is already creeping me out.

burned 500 calories playing volleyball today. This is good. We were tied last set against the staff who were kicking our *****. Tied at like 24 and I went back to serve.

Two aces, *******!

this is what you get in lieu of kickball updates tonight :)

No blood.
Only 2.5 out of 5 starts on Netflix. Do you guys usually care much about star ratings? I try to stay away from 1.5 or lower, but if something looks interesting I'll give it a shot regardless of reviews. I'm sure a lot of people who watched this movie expected: a) bigger budget b) more action c)more blood. It doesn't help that the Netflix description describes it as a "torture room" when it was nothing like that at all.

Lifeboat. That's what it reminds me of...

I frequently disagree with the star system; to put it bluntly, I'm not a big fan of "art" films. I want movies to entertain me - even if it's in a disturbing fashion. Some of the 1 stars that don't take themselves too seriously turn out to be great giggle fests. :)

I don't care about ratings or reviews. It helps that I love bad horror movies.

Interesting movie so far. Sorry KC, I'd choose old ones first too.

Edit: I mean.........never mind.....

I disagree with reviews sometimes when they try to evaluate a movie as something it is not. Not everything is academy award worthy, but serve their purpose well. An action movie should be an action movie. Is the action great and entertaining? Works for me. People will give action movies bad reviews because the story line is unrealistic, acting was not amazing, etc. Comedy, action, sci-fi, and horror get the shaft when it comes to reviews. Hollywood reviewers only care for dramas (and so do many other people).

Ms A doesn't eat meat. So whenever I cook for the both of us I use a meat substitute. I love meat, but I love Ms A more.

That makes sense. I hadn't heard you mention being meat-free before. Does she eat fish or eggs? There are some light white fish that don't taste super fishy that would work pretty well in enchiladas.

Yah. Not a vegan. Just a vegetarian. She still eats cheese but she won't even eat beef or chicken broth.
