Storms better hold off another 75 minutes. Last thing I want is for the power to go out before then.
Just wrote the check for my wife's quarterly taxes. Thinking of it as a Boxsters and JCs retirement fund made it easier to write. Don't spend it all at once.
More rain another inch today broke the temp down to 70. Started bike ride got 1/2 way thru and stripped out the twist shift on the handle bar. 
Only ended up with 6 mile ride.
Velo and other bikers replace with the same thing again (if they even make them anymore) or switch to more conventional shifters like on a road bike?

Buy a new bike. Have them order it for you and then call you (today) and say one of the front gears was damaged in shipping so they need to order that. And wait another week. Ferk.

Well I've got the newer road bike from last year, but I've been using the older one to get my sorry butt back into shape. Then when I ride the newer one it seems easier. I'm going to break out the road bike tomorrow, so I get used to it before the ride this weekend. Ride choices are 20,35, 45 miles for Sat. think I'll decide that day on which route to take.
At least they called and explained what happened instead of just leaving you in the dark. It does suck that it got damaged in shipping. Glad it wasn't frame damage.
Did the inevitable happen and 55 broke up with Pants and now he is to ashamed to come around?
