Dh is going to a outdoor beer thing this weekend with his brother. I told him to drink much water.
The thing in Madison? My boss is headed up for that with her husband. Sounds like a heck of a time.

When I was a paperboy for the DMR and a shopper as a kid we couldn't throw it, we had to put it inside the screen door (if they had one) at every house. It adds a lot of time and miles to your route especially if your parents taught you that you don't walk through people's yards but instead walk up their sidewalk.
That sounds like hell. There were of course the people who usually were not subscribers that would get mad and report you for walking on their grass.
It is interesting though how that whole don't walk across people's yards thing has degraded with time. When my SIL go to the party thing we were at on Sunday night she walked through two peoples yards to get where we were. I thought it was kind of rude but also knew that with their attitude of "it wouldn't matter to me so it isn't a big deal" that it was best to bite my tongue.

CG's boss is gonna get fired and CG is gonna have to cancel her vacation. DH is going to have to enjoy those bikinis in the back yard instead.
that's a good boss.
people, like this vendor, can be so rude. there's a certain level of respect of co-workers time and schedule that are often completely missing.

nah this one is in Milwaukee. What one is here this weekend? There's a big one in August that DH has a tickets for. Needs someone to go with. Couple people have obligations and the others already have tickets.
I'll check with her. But I wanna say like Great Northern Beer Fest? I did a quick search and that's in Eagle River this weekend. Is that close to Madison?
this coworker is the type to go home and be back online within 5 minutes. I do not think they have a life outside of work. Like they've been annoyed at me being gone on a Friday and thus unable to work on something they wanted to finish over a weekend. Something that in no way needed to be done over a weekend. I totally get working longer hours on things that need it, but they work just to work. So when they said "well if CG is volunteering" (to my wi-fi comment), I was definitely glad boss said what she did.
This vendor was originally supposed to be done with me in like January. They are ridiculously behind and always have an excuse. We are now finally making progress but I'm still like **** this, I booked my vacation based on your own timeline projections that I then gave you triple the time for, you don't get to blame this **** on me.
I'd do a lot for boss and team boss. They are great.
Doing a pretty good job of being a semi-retired slug today. Not full sloth level though.
Going to go ride dat bike, maybe over to bike store and do some shopping for a newer ride.
They aren't afraid anymore. They say that a govt accountant killed you in the murder house and think you're not as scary.
CG's coworker sounds like some people I used to worth with. A lot of people that didn't understand work life balance and their *** was in the fire so clearly everyone's had to be. My favorite was sitting in a meeting at 8:30 AM and a manager complaining to the VP that he emailed so and so about something at 10:30 the night before and didn't have a response yet.
Aren't those people lovely?
Oh yeah, my boss was going.to reward me with a set of free tickets to do some work in new York. With a one year old I passed and no one went. I was supposed to land for two nights on 9-10-2001.
