lol you guys, I got the cheesecake souffle out to toss it to make room in the fridge. Decided to cut a hole in the middle to taste it after being in the fridge.
OMG, it's delicious cheesecake! IDK what magic happened in the fridge, but it's delicious cheesecake! That didn't crack! That I now cut a hole in the middle of!
So now I'm cutting pieces to take to work because there's no way we can eat all of this.

I mean, I'm glad that even though I made too much, it still ended up good. And I'm really proud that the top didn't crack. Not that there is really proof since I cut it open :skeptical:

Packing for a trip to Seattle tomorrow. Thankfully, I'm just tagging along and not presenting (for once).
That would be cool, except I have to come back on Friday since Mrs. GTO teaches on Saturday. As it is, This trip is WAY longer than necessary. I arrive in Seattle at 5:30 tomorrow for a meeting from 9am-2pm on Thursday. Unfortunately, last direct flight from Seattle to DFW is at 3:35pm and we would not make it. All other flights with one stop to DFW arrive somewhere between 2-5am. So instead, we are forced to take the first flight out on Friday.
You and Nickels should come to DFW. Just not in the summer, maybe winter time. Weather today was in the 90s and should start to be consistently in the triple digits for the next 2-3 months.
Yeah, my first summer in Dallas was 37 straight days over 100. That summer ended up with about 70+ days of triple digit temperatures. Last two summers have been somewhat mild, thankfully.
Summer sucks, but I'll take it for winters without any snow/freezing.
