Dunno...just made me think about a family somewhere...

Just wondering how many cows had to die just so they could have their outfits.

So, the field was super wet and muddy tonight. I was up to kick after DH fouled out and I kicked a great bunt. They kept slipping trying to grab the ball and I got to 2nd base! Next guy bombed the kick and I got home! He fell rounding 2nd and got out. I got on base two more times and got caught out once. I also had two great catches tonight and one I missed because the ball was wet. Their team wasn't great at fielding and kept arguing with each other. We won by a lot, I don't remember what.

Meow friend is running a half marathon this weekend and then going on vacation. I wished her luck and told her to drink many margaritas. Also asked if she was now happy with the swimsuit she got last month and wasn't sure about.

Kickball updates were missing this morning so I'll take pretend ones versus actually working.

I concur with Cooler Johnson. I'd miss the kickball updates too much if there wasn't something.

Also, I concur with Boxster Johnson, Meow friend swimsuit talk is useless without pics.
Sounds like you have Johnsons on your mind. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

GTO's here! GTO's here!

Have I been away from RTT that long? I worked from home the past couple of days so I've been busy with two kids and no wife. Mrs. GTO had to work all day yesterday and also had a graduation ceremony for her students and end-of-the-semester drinks with her co-workers. She only came home around 12:30am, so my sleep is all screwed up. I went to bed at 9, woke up at 12:30, did some work until 4:00am, and then slept again until 8.

Humble brag alert. My parents have 8 kids and 14 grandkids. All of us kids graduated from college (6 from ISU!) When my niece graduated from ISU last Saturday, 8 of the 14 grandkids have now graduated from college. One is currently at ISU, another starts at K-state this fall and the youngest four are all planning on attending college as well.

Considering that none of my parents or their siblings were able to attend, that's a hell of an accomplishment.

Three and a half hours. That's some impressive work there. When I do some work it is generally a lot closer to three and a half minutes than three and a half hours.

Those are the days when the ball feels like its made out of concrete and your hands get absolutely destroyed.

I usually include the 3+ hours of foreplay (begging).
I was curious and looked up the definition in Mirriam-Webster's

foreplay
noun fore·play \-ˌplā\
Popularity: Bottom 69% of words
Simple Definition of foreplay: sexual actions (such as begging and bribery) that people do with each other before they have sex

So, one of the ads along the side has been a picture of a puppy with "Fact: A dog will make you happier." It appears to be a husky pup, and it's an ad for adoptapup.tv. Now, I'm all for increasing the adoption of animals, but to me, stating that a dog will make you happier as a fact is almost a little irresponsible for me. In the right circumstances, a dog will make you happier, but in the wrong circumstances, it can be a mess for both the humans and the animal. IDK, maybe reading too much into it.

I'm thinking you're putting to much thought into that. Studies have shown that dogs in nursing homes make people feel better. Being around pets cheer most people up even if they aren't their own pets.
