went out to dinner with some of kickball friends. One of them (the newly engaged) will be going back east later this summer so he's wanting to do fun things here. When I got there they were discussing doing a trip to Nashville. I'm like yeah cool! But then he's all, you know I've heard really good things about Dubuque. I think I want to go to Dubuque for a weekend trip.

too late, back on his own phone. Falling asleep. IDK why he's so tired. Said it's cause I made him get up with me this morning. But I only made him get up 20 minutes earlier than normal, he still got sleep after I got up. Wanted him to get home in time to practice kickball.

So he falls asleep 20 earlier now. It's science.

My friend got to meet Georges and had her picture taken with him at the Farewell Tour. Forever jealous.

So, I was pondering on whether to share the story I just read....this might be a sign.

Relation by marriage gets married in Dubuque several years ago. Their honeymoon was travelling to different B&B's in Wisconsin. A caretaker at a certain B&B says "Don't go into town." "Why?" "Just don't go into town." They didn't go into town. Now I'm REALLY curious what town it was.

Oh, just to complete the RTT circle...they've lived in Minneapolis their whole marriage.

I'll will have just got home from Cincy that day/night, we'll see. She comes home during the summer and she said she will be traveling a lot. However, if things work out right, we'll both be in Ohio, Chicago and Minneapolis at the same time.

Son qualified for sure in one relay. Was blowing the doors off the 400 hurdles until he ate the last three hurdles and started to gas, no chance to qualify for that. His 4x4 had an outside chance but 3 of the four were ran hard going into it and just couldn't hang the times they could so most likely that isn't going either.
