I feel like it probably is for their significant others. Plus, I guess I have a problem with criticizing them too much because it's like breaking into someone's home and stealing their big screen tv, and then asking the victim, "well why'd you have a big screen tv?"

Not saying it's the victims fault. Would think a thumb drive would make a little more sense. I think having your kids stumble into (especially if they have friends over like my kids can) would be a concern to not have them.

Guess I'm just a prude. I've never done a naked photo shoot for the wife or vice versa.

To me, I'd compare it to walking down the street in a rougher area. I avoid walking down them and if I do, I avoid carrying large amounts of cash. It just lessens the chances of being mugged.

Not sure what you're talking about or what happened, but I don't understand is people having naked pictures on their computers. Why do all the people like naked photos and store them on their computers knowing many stars and people in general have been hacked and had them stolen?

Maybe I should put a naked picture of myself on my computer. If hacked, they would probably stop after seeing that, would be scared they would find more.


Went to help my sister with something at the doctors office yesterday (she's older and her husband is not able to assist her). The saying of no good deed goes unpunished.......my sump pump gave out and today is get the basement dried out day.

The other day I walked in the house after work and got hit by a blast of cold air. The batteries in the thermostat must have died right after the air kicked on so there was nothing to tell it to turn off. I put in new batteries and it showed the house at 65. I had the temp set for 78 so it must have been running all day.

Sent 3 of the 4 off to school. Hubby asked the youngest what we were going to do all day. "Party. And eat pistachios." And yes, she asked for pistachios at 8:30am.

Hubby had 8am work meeting with important work news. I know he won't let me know until he gets home, which will be about 9pm tonight. Need positive outcome vibes!

I'm more confused about birdy giving me the thumbs down. Was that directed at the sump pump or the thought of my naked picture? Guessing both.


I went to the hardware store this morning, not open. Thankfully drove a different route, went by the lumberyard (actually sell lumber), stopped, asked if they had pumps and while my butt hurt from the price I at least got one. My backup was shot also. So today is buy two pump day. I'm buying this one elsewhere though.

Of course that's a day after they dropped off the new one for me to install.

Today is Linn countys turn in the 99 county thing that ISU is doing. I currently have a friend posted up at Lowe park. I am 99% sure he is wrong on the location. My bet would be the Tree of 5 seasons or NewBo Market.

You're claiming you went to an actual lumberyard that sells lumber yet you still use terms like pump, naked, butt, shot, hard and got one. I'm not so sure you didn't take a little detour through DM.

They did my home county on the last day of the county fair, on the county fairgrounds. I was actually home, but not up to going up there in the rain. My sister was yards from it (she was helping in the church foodstand) and still missed it, got there second.
