I agree. Some are. They have gone around campus and put bike stop signs up, but plenty of riders blow right past those...and if you're making a right turn and they are coming up on the sidewalk beside you, they're not always visible. I've had to hit the breaks more than once. I guess the city streets are tough too?

They should not be on a main road during the WDSM evening commute when there is a sidewalk right there.

Are you trying to retain poster of the week status for another week? :twitcy:

I actually really do think Shaq would destroy Wilt, but I always hate "greatest of all time" conversations because it's impossible to judge if they're in different eras for pretty much any sport. It's 100% based on bias and nostalgia.

And now the one currently on struggle street:

Not only on struggle street, it's waiting by the curb to get on the struggle bus.

Adventureland summary: Left about 8, got there right at 10, when they open. Can they put up some signs as to where to turn? I was following my GPS, it took me to the wrong side of the park. Overall, really, really good day. Lines were short, except for the food line at the blacklight 'magic show'. Kind of neat...but also weird...for the kids to ride on some of the same rides I rode on when I was a kid 30 years ago. Kids did quite a few rides, but nothing really crazy. Watched the people coming out of the raging river, I'd say about 1% came out soaked, the rest were dry or just a bit wet. We're now proudly part of the 1%. Mrs00 got a wave over the bow to soak her back, then going thru the waterfall, our boat hit the side and stopped/turned with us underneath it. Only one that wasn't drenched was little00. Left about 5, which was the limit of how far the boys could possibly have gone. Meltdowns in the car on the way home, but the few negatives can't outweigh the smiles I saw on their faces as they whooshed around on the rides.

So husband and I were eating at Pizza Ranch tonight. (Don't judge) I saw a couple of 8 yo girls come in with medals around their neck, and deduce they were in a softball tourney. They and their adult relatives were sitting at a nearby table. I heard one of the female relatives (I believe one of the mothers) say to someone that they "lost by a point" and the score was "zero to one".

Put my teeth on edge.

Power company doesn't come trim around lines for you? They do here for free, but don't do cleanup.

Its on an acreage. Runs up a pole for the yard light and used to be overhead lines to the old house but I buried them and built a shed nearby. Since its on a yard, it's my responsibility. Should just have them mount flood lights on the tallest bins and call it good.

Well that was a pretty good ending for POI. They can even sequel it if they want.

Mobile is no longer jumping to the last read post. Counting down the days until the new site.

Could have been included in a longer adventureland summary: mr. sarav was doing sports as we backed out of the driveway and the Catholic station wasn't coming in. Mrs00 didn't seem nearly as impressed by the fact that i have had message board discussions with the wife of the guy on the radio as i feel she should have been.

(Addendum: "message board discussions" was originally phrased as "interwebs interactions", but i realized that could be construed several different innappropriate ways.)

Oh, come on! Give us credit for being more mature than that.
