I can deal with reading glasses. I wouldn't recommend lasik for far sighted people.
Let me just ask a question. You get lasik because you don't like wearing glasses I'm assuming.
So you get the surgery. It corrects your eyesight to a less visual acuity than when you wore your glasses. Then you still need to carry around a pair of glasses to able to see most things you look at on a daily basis. I guess I just don't see the appeal?
My sight now is roughly 20/15. Been about 13 years or so. I don't need to wear any other glasses now. I was a -8.75 area. Couldn't do anything without them. My hand got blurry about a foot from my face. Still why I don't like anything on the lake. I have a job that caused my to destroy glasses every two years. At $600 for glasses and rims, the $100-200 for the exam, the 998 for the lasik made my life way better.
On the hearing protection while mowing topic. The old riding mower at my grandparents could probably be heard in Mt. Vernon from SE CR. So when I won this last year I wore it while mowing. Nice pretty Lightspeed Zulu ANR headset.

dude I'm in a pissy mood. I'm not going beyond where I am. Both are so obviously horrible that I can't even with the (few) justifiers.
I just stay out of the cop ones anymore. You have the same group of people that will defend the cops and blame the victim regardless of how in the wrong the cop may have been. It's the same argument every single time.
My new favorite game is to make a general **** you type post in the cave and then duck out for a few hours. It's actually amazing to me that there are this many people that take themselves this seriously.

oh I normally do. I regret watching that video and reading more about it. Horrifying.
The babies are still out there, and the bigger one is crying for mamma. I gave them a little bit of applesauce earlier, and they snarfed it down...but mamma hasn't come back yet. We heard several coons raising a ruckus earlier and Lew went to see if one had been trapped or something; he said they were up in the trees, and moved down toward the creek. I'm wondering now if mamma got tangled up with something bigger than her.
