This.

"This beautiful little angel laughed today."

Then I watch a video clip of a kid that looks like a cone head and sounds like it's a smoker having a coughing fit. Do parents like, legitimately not know if their babies are cute or not?

post the video and let the masses decide.

I stand corrected. That dog will give me nightmares.

There are 2 totally different types. One will massage you and have you come back several times. (Found most of these went to Palmer chiropractic). I used to go to one of these when I had to. The other beats on you one time and tells you to come back if you feel you need it.

I never went to one until about 10 years ago when I was submarined by 2-3 300# hogs and had my ribs slammed down onto a teepee shaped metal gate. Knocked my lumbers out. Couldn't breath when I slept. I probably ho once every 2-3 years now.

my uncle and grandfather are both chiropractors and they both very much disliked Palmer.

I was skeptical of Chiro until it worked on my son for ear infections. It doesn't work on everyone but thank God it did on him.

I think they have their purpose and can help. Most of the school athletes in our town went to my uncle.

Many chiros can veer into not so great territory on things like vaccinations and conventional medicine so you have to be aware of that.

I had to take my oldest to one this year during wrestling season. Since the regular one I see is 25 minutes away I went to the old guy who had just bought the business in town. Coaches said it was ok for him to miss a few minutes to get corrected. He spent 5 minutes adjusting and laser therapy. Said to do a couple things at home and no lifting today. $30 bucks and done. When I blew my ribs out this year I went to him. Tired of 4-5 trips.

Oh yeah. The one we go to is awesome and is well respected. We were actually referred to him by a good friend who currently goes to the Chiro school that apparently is terrible. Whatevs I think it is all a case by case basis. I am just glad that it is helping LittleWx and since it is we avoided $3k+ to get tubes and recently found out that the antibiotics for his ear infections caused his milk sensitivities so now we are getting that sorted out.

Every day the mutt finds a new reason to make me dislike her more. About broke my toe this morning. This after finding she found sunflower seeds and yaked in the middle of the floor.

That puppy came up on a search for Chinese cresteds. I saw the breed on animal planet one time, on a show called too cute; they were obviously trying to be kind. The eyes are probably just the camera flash, but the rest of the dog is correct, they have a hairless body and then fur on their head and around their feet.

Chinese Crested isn't going to evoke many oohs and ahhs. Worse than the Japanese Chen.

On what planet is a pickup truck a reasonable option for a loaner car for a short-legged, out-of-shape 61 year old woman??????

They assured me it would be no problem as it's a "small" pickup. "Small" is relative...the floorboard on the damned thing is about 3 inches above my knee...and it doesn't come with a booster step. I grabbed the oh **** handle with my right hand (bit of a stretch for that!) and the steering wheel with my left, then hauled myself into it. I'm willing to bet that the guys in the shop got a good laugh out of it!
