My wife once put a sticky note next to our crockpot saying "Don't burn your mouth dumb***" because, after several years of marriage, she concluded that I would never get this concept either.
And for the record, I likely still burned my mouth.
I would conclude that the note addressed to me because, generally, my wife usually refers to me using sweet and/or reverential terms such as "Honey", "Stallion", "Sweetie" or "My Knight in Shining Armor".My wife once put a sticky note next to our crockpot saying "Don't burn your mouth dumb***" because, after several years of marriage, she concluded that I would never get this concept either.

Is it reverential or sarcastic? Well, PapaLew & I made the decision last night to bring Button indoors as family. We don't want litter after litter, but it goes against the grain to spend ~500 to spay/vaccinate a cat that may disappear tomorrow. And we don't trust the shelter - Ames shelter is no-kill, but we don't live in Ames.
I was going to make an appt with the vet when I got to work this morning...got a text from PapaLew that he found a home for Button - one of his coworkers, I'm assuming. I'm so glad! She's a sweet kitty, and we really do like her...but we don't want five cats!
What an awesome picture. It makes me smile.![]()
Pupdate: I've said "lulu no!" More times than I can count, she's learned to hop on the couch and despite having a bunch of toys, she really likes to play with socks. Can't get her to pee outside, but she does really well with pee pads.
After reading the moody thread, I now understand your family comment meant you wanted to make sure buttons didn't become gay.
GTO already mentioned it but I guess I really shouldn't be surprised that you're talking to the crockpot. That's not all that abnormal but you may need help if it starts talking back.
You *******.
I was looking for a Brave Little Toaster response and stumbled upon this instead. All of my electrical appliances talk to me.

Pants after tax day.Easy there, Magnum. When I got done and walked out of my office it was Iowa outside. You've got a better view. Say hi to Higgins.
The oldest daughter and son asked me to read the books (they thought I'd like them because I liked the Hunger Games books). The first wasn't that bad but the other two were just frustrating to read. How many times do people try to kill each other and than go around eating dinner with them later?
We had a free night also and went to see 10 Cloverfield Lane. It was pretty good. It was a little slow at times (probably intentionally) but had a couple of twists and a surprising ending (not super-realistic but still).
Also, if you're in the Twin Cities, I will put out a plug for Dayblock Brewery. Really good food and the Red beer is great. My wife didn't really care much for the wheat beer so you probably don't want to get that.

I suppose Henry VIII did have to deal with those situations all the time. So it would kind of be like that except, instead of cunning and powerful nobles, it involves a bunch of confused and bratty teenagersI have a feeling it would be similar to the plotting in royal courts. As far as fake people it seems to happen all of the time. I just watched Sherlock and he has done that.
That's the idea. However, the corn bearer is clearly a denizen of the People's Republic of Iowa City.Pants after tax day.
