BTW, courts seem to award child support a lot more than alimony now. You want part of DHs raise, might need to get preggo.
It is officially construction season as my direct route to work is closed for the next 6 months.
That project is crazy. I'm not a civil engineer, but I don't understand why that particular stretch of road needed to be completely replaced, it's seemed like one of the better ones in town. Go 2 blocks on the other side of Collins on C and it's one big pot hole.
oh that's right, I wonder if DH remembered his normal route is closed today. It looks like they are going to widen a section of it and we're really hoping they replace a part that goes over a hill. It's so potholed and the edges are wearing away. I always feel like we'll end up in a ditch going over that hill.
They've cut down the lanes on the highway that goes from my part of town, to the air force base where a lot of people work. There aren't too many alternatives to take.
Yeah I continue on south on C from Collins. It is terrible from 35th on up. Once the project is finished it will be very nice (widening to add a median and turning lane to ease congestion around the mother ship).
I am told that that south on C from there is the next big one which probably will include straightening Old Marion Road and adding a stop light where it's new intersection with C will be.

Well, this is under the assumption that the relationship with the starter wife is crumbling at the foundation now that his income has significantly increased and he can afford one with big fake plastic boobs.
Sirens went off at 6:00 this morning. Boo that, it was a sleep in day. Went back to bed after figuring it couldn't possibly be a tornado and if Mpls was getting nuked I was a goner* anyway (3 miles to dwtn). Still, kind of annoying.

That will be nice when done. Do you know if they are doing anything for pedestrian traffic crossing C? It seems like a good candidate for a pedestrian bridge of some sort. Or maybe RC should connect their buildings with heated tunnels :spinny:
I've been dealing with the cluster at Edgewood and Collins. It's been fascinating to watch, but has made the commute hell on and off for a year now.
Got to town this morning & found they were setting up cones to block access to Beach from Mortenson. Based on roadwork signs on several of the roads through the housing between Linn & Beach, they're apparently doing the entire freaking street...grrrrrrr...
