Today has been a cluster****. Wanted to have a long weekend for my birthday (plus my wife had to go to work today), but had so much **** going on at work, that I had to work from home. Had to move a couple of meetings since I can't really do conference call with Baby GTO at home. He has a bad habit of trying to talk over you when you're on the phone. Then I'm also backing up another account manager this week and two of her programs just blew up today with some major issues. Was able to resolve all of it, but took a good part of my day.

Still ended up having to take one conference call from my car on the way to pick up my oldest from school. Came back home and put Baby GTO to bed and then it started storming pretty bad with a ton of hail, so naturally he woke up. Once my wife came home, I finished the taxes but haven't e-filed yet. Time for some relaxation.

Son is filling out a social studies short answer worksheet. Asking me many questions about the cold war. Questions make no sense to me. Having lived during the end of it and being from a military heavy family (first one in 3+ generations on both sides to not serve) I'm giving answers that puts a more confused look on my son's face than before he asked.
