I have a friend who is in her third year of a second deployment in Korea...she posts signs she sees around Daegu and other places nearby. They can be very entertaining!

I will give the writers credit where credit is due, though - their command of English is far better than my (non-existent) skills with the Korean language.

Taking my car in tomorrow to have the brakes looked at/repaired. Have noticed a bit of a grinding the past week or so, but thought it was a rock or wet or something cuz it would always go away by the time I got to work. But the sound was much much worse Saturday night. It's weird cuz I always thought they'd squeal first of like a pad was going bad. But it never did. Now it sounds like caliper is definitely rubbing directly on the rotor.

What can I expect cost wise for new rear brakes on a 2010 Fusion?

Brakes and no rotors, would say 200 area. If you can turn the rotors, add. 100-125 bucks. If not. Total bill of 400-500. Pends who you took it to and level of quality

Agree to disagree

If I had plenty of water and food (and single of course), yeah I could have a little love shack in the jungle. These guys are always dehydrated, exhausted and starving though. Need to conserve everything.

And pants would never survive. He wouldnt be able to do any manscaping out there.

Probably not that bad parts wise. I don't know the mark up on it at a shop but I helped replace a 2007 or so Taurus' brakes and they were $75ish a wheel for the rotor + pads. If it's your caliper, those are about $100 a piece.

Just raise your rates at work and you'll be fine. I'm sure your patients won't even notice. I'd even label it "fusion fee" for fun.

Stupid work. I can't believe I missed out on the AMEX thread on Friday. That was full of good stuff, unfortunately at 2015's expense.

Each time I start a thread, I try to think of the worst possible direction it could go before I hit that post button. I still inevitably underestimate CF every time.

Hell, I think about that with every post. Hit delete twice this morning because it would have left me sitting there like a pinata.

I'm having it done at the dealership. They've been fair with us for everything so far, so I figured why not. Plus it's prolly time I have an alignment too, and Theisens doesn't do those. So I figured I'd get it all done at one place.

Nah, I'm usually good for a couple of weeks after man scaping.

It all depends on the one thing you bring there. A survival knife would probably be my go to choice if you don't know what kind of landscape they're taking you to. That or one of those automatics flint fire starter things.

Some dealerships make you align after anything they do, that's one reason I asked. I like to be high side. Good chance 500 does everything with alignment. Most shop labor is in that 100-120 area. When I was in the dealership, we had a 60% parts markup from cost.

Well today kinda sucks. Poopie weather but I am thinking, no matter will watch opening day Yankee baseball at 1:00! Something actually on TV on a Monday afternoon. Weather postponed. No matter, I will watch the hometown Twins at 2:00. Weather delay, poopie weather. So reduced to spamming CF with posts.

They lately let you have one thing plus a fire starter.

Ok, thanks for the info. I was kinda planning in the $500-$600 range. So is be happy if that got me an alignment as well.

I'm sure it makes me a sucker, but I'm one of the people that will gladly pay an extra $100 for time and convenience.
