Taking my car in tomorrow to have the brakes looked at/repaired. Have noticed a bit of a grinding the past week or so, but thought it was a rock or wet or something cuz it would always go away by the time I got to work. But the sound was much much worse Saturday night. It's weird cuz I always thought they'd squeal first of like a pad was going bad. But it never did. Now it sounds like caliper is definitely rubbing directly on the rotor.
What can I expect cost wise for new rear brakes on a 2010 Fusion?

Agree to disagree

Stupid work. I can't believe I missed out on the AMEX thread on Friday. That was full of good stuff, unfortunately at 2015's expense.
Each time I start a thread, I try to think of the worst possible direction it could go before I hit that post button. I still inevitably underestimate CF every time.
This better be you:

Brakes and no rotors, would say 200 area. If you can turn the rotors, add. 100-125 bucks. If not. Total bill of 400-500. Pends who you took it to and level of quality
If I had plenty of water and food (and single of course), yeah I could have a little love shack in the jungle. These guys are always dehydrated, exhausted and starving though. Need to conserve everything.
And pants would never survive. He wouldnt be able to do any manscaping out there.
I'm having it done at the dealership. They've been fair with us for everything so far, so I figured why not. Plus it's prolly time I have an alignment too, and Theisens doesn't do those. So I figured I'd get it all done at one place.
Nah, I'm usually good for a couple of weeks after man scaping.
It all depends on the one thing you bring there. A survival knife would probably be my go to choice if you don't know what kind of landscape they're taking you to. That or one of those automatics flint fire starter things.
They lately let you have one thing plus a fire starter.
Oh ****, I would dominate at that show then.
That is one of the hottest women on the planet.
Some dealerships make you align after anything they do, that's one reason I asked. I like to be high side. Good chance 500 does everything with alignment. Most shop labor is in that 100-120 area. When I was in the dealership, we had a 60% parts markup from cost.
Having a few million bucks plastered to the body will improve just about anyone's looks.
