I'm not ashamed to admit that I like watching Ellen. There's a lot of funny stuff, heartwarming/feel-good stories, and they like to give away lots of things to deserving people.

I do feel a little ashamed when she does her cheesy dancing-in-the-crowd bit. But everything else is good.

You young men should be keeping an aspirin between your knees. That would solve the whole pregnancy problem.

When I was a freshman at ISU we all got a handy little sex booklet. Complete with cardinal and gold colored cover. It was basically a how not to get pregnant manual. I am going to look in my junk box of old ISU stuff and see if I still have it.

So the good news of the day... All the preliminary stuff is done and I should have my official offer letter tomorrow. Time to start packing and booking a UHaul.

Yeah, but back then all they had for protection was lambskin condoms.

Congrats, Nick. I wish I was heading back to the Midwest.
After 16 months I've had my fun and lived a dream. I didn't want to wake up 50 years from now wondering what if. That said, I've learned that Florida is better to visit, not live in. I also learned that my family and friends are my support system and not to forget it either.

I will say, I don't have any regrets about moving to Hawaii. But I do miss the Midwest, and seasons (though I don't miss much about winter) and being closer to my family.
