It takes an act of God to get Der Hund in the shower for a bathing. She's so damn stubborn. And smart, she won't fall for me bribing her with treats either. Once she is in she finds out it's not so bad. Except for the being wet part.

Glad that's over!

I'm all packed for my drive to Iowa tomorrow. Just have to run to campus and do a couple things, then come home, load up Der Hund and all our stuff. It's going to be a long day! 11 hour drive.

What's the drive to Iowa for?

CWW#2 was much later in my life than that old Wang. I did teach her Lotus 1-2-3 on her computer in the old Northwest Airlines marketing office in Dallas, Texas. Think I actually have a picture of that. I was all CG spreadsheetie back in the 1990's.

Being that this was with CWW2, I'm 99% sure Lotus in the office is all about naked yoga on the desk, and I do believe the part about pictures.

I've seen all of the BTTF movies, but I think I disappointed one of my folks when he came into my office yesterday morning all "Happy back to the future day!" with a big grin on, and I was all <blink, blink>"oh, uhh, is that today?"

It was kind of like this:

We had a computer at our home since 1983...Apple IIe. I had a kick-butt Alice in Wonderland game that took both sides of the 5 1/2" floppy to play.

KC>My dad has a gazillion of those punch cards. He'd bring the used ones home from work, then used them to leave notes for himself. Hmmm. Now I wonder if any are left.

We were talking computers with our oldest. Of course she has grown up with lots of technology in the classroom. The past 2 years they have had their own Chromebooks--not exactly a Mac but functional enough for what they do. She will have me check her homework on it and every single time it is a given I will try to use the screen as a touch screen. "Mom, it is NOT a touch screen!!"

Preschool and even then library have ipads accessible to the kids, although in Preschool they are only "open" every other day and only during free play.
